If I remember Jiangshi are Chinese zombies that use a talisman to stay alive is mostly in the front of the head. Is not there maybe she has it in his buns.

She gives me a big smile and says "Hěn gāoxìng jiàn dào nǐ (nice to meet you. My name is Daiyu Liu"
