Sky's POV:

I woke up to groaning and moaning outside. I got off the couch and slowly looked out the window. I saw a few walkers walking around, I sighed and went and got my knife and went to the back door. I checked to see if their was any walkers near the back yard. I only saw three walkers, I got my knife out and ran out the door and ran up to the first walker and stabbed it in the forehead.

Blood splattered all over me and I got my knife out of the walkers forehead. I then saw a woman walker slowly walking up to me and I kicked her away. She fell on the ground, I then ran up to her and stomped my foot on her head and smashed her head flat. I cringed when I saw all the blood, then I turned my attention to the last walker. He had no lower body, all he was half a walker crawling towards me.

I walked up and put my knife between his eyes ending his life. I sighed and walked into the woods, I didn't hear anything for a long other than my footsteps. I then heard a branch break. I stopped and looked around, I didn't see the thing that made the noise. I started walking again but stopped when I was a deer.

I smiled. Finally some food, I thought. I got out my knife and watched the deer closely. The deer didn't even know I was there. I raised up my knife to throw it when..... Grrrr!! Two hands were on my shoulders. I freaked out and fell on the ground bringing the walker down with me. I fought with the walker and was about to reach for my knife, but saw it was out of my hand and a few inches away from me.

I couldn't reach it with the walker on me, I got my legs under the walker and kicked him off. I ran over to my knife and picked it up. I then turned to the walker and saw it was getting off the ground. It moved over to me moaning, so I walked up and stabbed it in the eye.

I sighed and wiped my knife on my pants leg. I heard thunder and felt little droplets of rain land on my face. It felt good, I kept walking through the rain. While I was walking my thoughts went to daddy. How is he? Is he okay? Is he alive? So many questions went through my mind. I walked a little ways until I came upon a river. I walked down the hill and walked into the water. I washed the blood off my hands when I saw something floating in the water, Sophia's stuffed rabbit.

I walked to it and picked it up, I looked around and called out " Sophia! Sophia where are you!?" I didn't hear anything so I walked out of the river with rabbit in my hands. I then saw footprints in the mud. They weren't walker so I followed them.

I walked through the woods for a few minutes until I came on a old house. I slowly walked up to it and called out " Sophia? Are you here?" Then I heard someone running to the front door. Then there stood Sophia. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Sophia ran up to me and hugged me, I hugged her back then said " Are you okay? Did you get bit or anything?"

She shook her head and I smiled. " Where is the group?" I asked. Sophia frowned and said " We were on the highway, when I hoard came through and two walkers tried to get me and I ran off and got lost."

I nodded and said " Okay, lets try to get you back to your momma." Sophia smiled and nodded. " When we lost you at the CDC, mister Daryl lost it. He wouldn't talk to anyone and never slept or eat. He kept to himself. He misses you."

I smiled and felt tears in my eyes. I wiped my eyes and said " Come on, lets get going." We both started our way back to the highway. On our  way we came across five walkers. Sophia looked scared so I made her stay in a tree and gave her one of my pocket knives. I stabbed the first two walkers in the head. I kicked the third walker on the ground and killed the last two walkers. I then wacked the third walker with a rock until his head was nothing.

I ran over to the tree that Sophia was in and I didn't see her. Didn't I tell her to stay put? Then I heard someone crying behind a bush. "Sophia?" I called. Then she came into sight and ran over to me and hugged me while crying. I rubbed her back and said " You okay, Sophia?" I asked.

She nodded and pulled away and said " Yea, I was just scared that you would get hurt then a walker came from out of nowhere and I got scared and hid." I sighed and said " I'm glad your okay, But where is the walker?" Sophia smiled and dragged me to where she was hiding. There laid a dead walker with a stick in its head.

I smiled at her and said " Good job, Sophia. " Sophia smiled and I said " Come on, we have little sun light left we need to keep moving." Sophia nodded and we started off again into the woods. After a while we came to a stop, Sophia was breathing hard and said " Sky, can we stop here for tonight? I'm tried." I nodded and said " We are gonna sleep in the trees just in case."

Sophia nodded and we both climbed into the trees and got comfortable. I looked at Sophia and saw she was already asleep. I smiled and closed my eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
