" Sky get up." I groan and turn over on the mattress. " Come on Sky, breakfast is ready." When I hear the word breakfast I open my eyes. I see Beth smiling at me. " Morning Sky." I nod " Morning. What's for breakfast?" Beth shrugs " I don't know. Carol just sent me up here to get you before I could see what it was." I get off the mattress and yawn. Beth walks out of the room and I follow close behind her and go into the eating area.

I see everyone was sitting at a long table laughing and talking. Carol hands me a plate and I smile gratefully at her before I start looking for a spot to sit. I look around and see dad sitting by himself. I smile and sit beside him." Hey, Dad."

Dad looks up from his bowl of food and smiles " Hey, baby girl. Did you sleep well?" I nod and lean against him. " What do we have to do today?" I ask. Dad puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer " Want to go hunting?" He asks smiling at me. He knows me so well. " Yesssss."

Dad nods and kisses my head. " I love you Sky." I smile and kiss his cheek " I love you too dad." We eat our food. After we got done we hand the bowls back to Carol and go outside with everyone else. " Daryl, come here a minute." Rick calls from the garden. Dad looks at me as if asking if I will be okay by myself. I nod and he goes over to Rick. 

" Hey Sky." I hear a voice. I look and see a woman with red hair walking over to me. " Hi. I'm Katie. I'm new to the group. You Daryl's kid?" I nod at her. Katie smiles " Good. Now do you know if your dad is single?" What in the world?! She is really asking me this?

" I'm sorry, but we are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. We don't have time to find someone to be with. And yes he is, but don't get ideas." I then walk away with a glaring Katie behind me. I walk over to Beth smiling as I see her holding Judith. 

" She's just a cutie isn't she?" Beth asks me when I get over to them. I nod in agreement. " I wish I could've been there for Rick when Lori died." I say sadly. Beth nods at me with understanding. " What was it like? Being separated from your dad for such a long time? Beth asks.

I sigh " It was really hard, but I had to keep going for him and Sophia. I always heard his voice in my head saying, nothing can kill a Dixion expect a other Dixion. My dad is like my best friend." I look over and see dad walking back to us. " Hey Sky. Oh hey little asskicker." Dad laughed saying that.

Judith giggled at dad and that made me smile. atleast their is still some laughter in this world. Dad hands Judith back to Beth and we walk off. " Have you met anybody today?" I lauh " Yeah, a new person in the group named Katie. I don't like her." Dad laughed  " Why not?" I sigh " She asked me if I was your kid and when I said I was she smiled and asked if you was single. I then went off on her and walk away."

I can see that dad was holding in his laughter as I talked. " Yeah, I met Katie. She crazy." Dad agreed. BAM!!! A sudden noise made me and dad look toward the fence. And there stood Philip and he was smiling. Oh no.
