Sky's POV:

Tweet, Tweet 

I woke up to birds singing. I groaned when I sat up. I looked up and saw Sophia still sleeping on her branch, I smiled and jumped down and onto the ground. I stood there for a few minutes, and looked around to see if there was any walkers around.

When it was clear I climbed back into the tree, and climbed up to Sophia. I  grabbed her arm and shook her. Sophia opened her eye and said " No, just five more minutes." I rolled my eyes and said " Come on Sophia, you want to get back to your momma don't you?"

Sophia groaned and sat up and nodded. I smiled and said " Okay then, lets get going." I jumped down and landed on the ground. Sophia climbed down to me and smiled. I smiled back and we started on our way.

We have been walking for hours, we stopped and rested near a river. I filled up a flask I found a few miles back on a dead man, poor Sophia. I took a drink of water and handed the flask to Sophia. She smiled and turned the flask up and drank the water.

Sophia saw that she drank all the water, she smiled sheepishly at me and filled the flask back up. I smiled and said " You okay now Sophia?" Sophia nodded and said " Thank you, Sky. I'm happy you found me and helping me find my momma."

I nodded and said " We are both getting something out of this, I'm going to find my pa. I miss him." My emotions were getting out of hand and I started crying. I then stopped knowing pa wouldn't want me to be crying, dixons don't cry.

I wiped the tears away, Sophia smiled at me sadly and said " We will find them. I know we will." I nodded and sighed. Then I said " Okay, enough of that. Let's get going." Sophia nodded and we continued our walk. 

Soon, it was starting to get dark. I sighed and turned to Sophia and said " It's getting dark, do you want to keep going or stop for the night?" Sophia shrugged and said " Let's keep going. I want to find my momma and your pa."

I smiled and hugged her and said " Thank you Sophia." Sophia pulled away and nodded and we walked on into the night. I walked behind Sophia for a while, we both weren't saying anything just listening to the noises of the night. I suddenly heard a moan. I saw that Sophia stopped and turned to me and said " Sky, did you hear that?" 

When I was about to answer, I saw a herd of walkers walking toward us. " Run!! Run Sophia!!" I yelled while we ran. We jumped over dead trees and ran, but it was no use the walkers were getting closer and closer.

I was starting to get tired, I slowed down to a jog. Sophia saw that I slowed down, she came besides me and said " Come on Sky, we have to keep going." I shook my head and said " I can't I'm too tired."

I then saw that we were in a field and there was light in the distance. I smiled and said " Sophia, run to the lights and go get help. I'm going to hold them off the best I can, just go get help." Sophia shook her head and said " I can't leave you Sky. Come with me!" 

" SOPHIA!! Just leave me!! I'll be fine and here when you get back." I handed her my knife and said " Use it if you have to now go!" I pushed her on when I saw the herd coming through the trees. She didn't move. "Sophia, go now!!" 

Sophia then nodded and ran off into the darkness, I was alone. I got out my pocketknife and my little hand gun. I stabbed the first walker in the head and took the knife out. I kept that going for a while, but they just keep coming.

I was getting tired, and I suddenly felt pain go through my leg and I heard someone yell and then I fainted.
