zen-little noise

I was sleeping soundly until a little noise awoke me. I opened my eyes, to feel strong arms around me. I was about to get up until, "let me get it, babe," he said. he carefully unrapped his arms from me and got up. I could hear the creaking of the wood getting farther and farther away until I couldn't hear it anymore. the only sound I did hear, was the little noise, that soon stopped. I quietly got up and exited our room. I walked through the hallway and into the pastel room to see zen holding our baby boy, and singing him to sleep. I have never seen anything more beautiful. he stopped singing and looked up. he smiled at me. "look at what we made, princess. I think he's more handsome than me..." he whispered, trailing off. I giggled quietly and walked towards him. he grabbed me with his free hand and pulled me into his side. we stood there together admiring our little boy. zen continued to sing, and once he was sleeping, he placed him in his crib. he turned around and put his arms around me, kissing my head. afterwards, we headed into our room, and fell asleep again.

hii lol so I know I haven't updated and I'm sorry. I have a few in the works but I haven't had a lot of inspiration. currently right now I'm helping baby sit with my mom and this just popped into my head so I decided to write this. I know this is super short and I apologize lmao but just know that there's a lot more to come😄
