I was scrolling through my phone on the couch anxiously after I heard what supposedly happened. I was waiting for him to get home, so I could ask him about it. I didn't know how he'd react, so I was worried. but, the time almost came for him to come through the door. I rehearsed what I wanted to say over and over again in my head. I heard the door knob turn, and my attention was directed to the open door to see zen standing in it, about to greet me.

"hey babe." he spoke as he walked in and took his shoes off.

"how was work?" I asked hesitantly. he gave me a worried look, but answered my question.

"it was fine. I think I'm going to get asked to have an audition for a bigger musical. are you okay?" he asked.

I stared at him, completely loosing my train of thought, not knowing what to say. after thinking for an uncomfortable amount of time, I finally spoke. "zen, I saw an article today..." i trailed off.

"huh? about what?" he asked confused.

"there were, um, pictures...of you and a fan? maybe? and it didn't really...it didn't really look like she was just a fan, zenny..." I answered, trying not to sound shaky, but failing.

he was shocked. he opened his mouth to speak. "oh my god, (y/n)!! no!! it's not what you think I promise!!" he said in a louder tone.

"why don't I believe you?" I asked, standing up.

"well you should!! I would never do anything like this!!" he was close to yelling, and it scared me, because he's never really yelled at me like this before.

still, trying to stay calm, I replied. "there's proof zenny. I--"

"what, so you don't trust me?! I love you!! I would never ever cheat on you, (y/n)!!" he cut me off. tears were welling up in my eyes but I didn't let him see.

"I do trust you, I just don't know why you would want to lie if there's proof! just tell me the truth!" I raised my voice.

he went to yell at me, but was cut off by my cries. he came towards me, and carefully put his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder. "babe, I'm so sorry. please don't cry. I didn't cheat. I'd never do that to you. I love you. she was just a crazy fan, I promise." he spoke softly with sincerity in his voice. I hugged him back, and we just stood there for a while, with nothing being said.
