(A/N: Spoilers I guess for Countrycide and everything else before probably.
Mentions of smut but it's kinda just aftermath and Janto fluff.)

The team arrived back at the hub, tired and shuffling. On the awkward trip back from Brecon Beacons, they had all silently agreed to rid the base and their own homes of all meat products, even Owen and Jack had agreed. Gwen was comforting Tosh the whole way, rubbing her uninsured shoulder and reassuring her that the cannibals were locked away for good.
Ianto just looked out the window, glancing up every once in a while to see that the rest of the team was there.
Jack pulled near the tourist shack, letting everyone return to their respective vehicles with quiet good-byes and good nights, then he himself entered the Hub nice everyone left.
When he went to go to his office however, he noticed that there was a single individual who stayed behind to clean up the day's earlier mess.
"Gwen?" Jack called out and the figure stopped.
"No sir, just me." A cool, male welsh accent replied back.
Jack sighed and walked over.
"Ianto, you need to rest. Owen said you should limit your activities, including cleaning up our messes. That concussion need to heal." Jack lightly put a hand over the young man's forehead.
"I believe I've been through much worse, sir." Ianto sighed then gave a small smile as to reassure his boss.
Jack stopped the other man from returning to his work by taking Ianto's hands into his own.
"Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure you haven't dealt with cannibals or slight degree of torture. C'mon let's talk about it in my office. Okay?"
"Only if you promise I can walk straight in the morning sir." Ianto joked tiredly and followed Jack up to the office.
"So, tell me how to you felt Ianto."
The two were now sitting in chairs on opposite sides of Jack's large desk.
The young man glanced up nervously, his hands fighting with his overcoat buttons.
"At which point, sir?"
"Just give me a walk through of the entire time."
Ianto cleared his through quietly, then took a slight breath.
"Well, during the beginning I felt normal, other than when Gwen started the "Who Was Your Last Shag", then I just felt sad I suppose, because of Lisa."
"But she wasn't your last shag." Jack quirked an eyebrow.
"What was I supposed to do Jack? Only weeks after Lisa, tell the team I shagged you, who helped partake in killing her? Even if I did, Gwen would be out for me too. You weren't too honest either." Ianto huffed, agitated.
"Alright, alright, fair point, just continue."
"When we found that body in the woods, and the SUV being stolen, I mostly felt dread and slight confusion. So nothing too serious."
Jack hummed, giving Ianto the 'okay' to keep going.
"When Tosh was taken, I panicked. I looked around that house for her but then that's when I was knocked unconscious." He rubbed his forehead unconsciously in disdain. "When I woke up, I was underground, in that cellar. Tosh was still out cold, I checked over her, scoped for any injuries, and when I found none, I searched for anything that could be used as a weapon. Now panic and paranoia were there, but when I found a meat hook, that sparked some hope and accomplishment. But when that woman came, it all disappeared. What was a hook to do to a shotgun. Blow my head to bits while I attempt to gouge out her eyes?" Ianto sighed and shuddered a bit as he prepared for the next part. "She led us up to the slaughter and Jack, the smell, it hits you like a wave of Hell. The rot, the blood. Bodies strung up from the ceiling, bleeding out. I heard some of them Jack, barely breathing, quietly begging for death, it was sickening. When Tosh and I prepared our plan, I felt courage, but it dissipated as soon as she ran and they came at me. First it was the shotgun butt to my head, then they started cutting and 'tenderizing'. I just wanted it to be over, I knew you were to far away. They knocked me out again after that."
Jack was silent as Ianto continued.
"Then they brought Owen, Gwen, and Tosh in. All my hope about them escaping vanished and I hoped you weren't in bits somewhere, just so you could save them.  When they put that knife to my throat, I..I wanted it to end, but I didn't. I wanted to be able to say goodbye to my sister and her kids, you, the team, my parents, heaven forbid they're still alive. Then you came, blasting Hell on them. That's when I felt fear Jack. Pure fear. You terrified me, the rage in your eyes, I thought you were going to kill them all, and it utterly surprised me when you just started blowing their legs off. I also saw that side of you, when you put that gun to my head." Ianto imitated a gun to his temple and chuckled lightly without humour. "I honestly though you were going to send me all over that wall, and at the time I would have gladly accepted it."
Jack stood and walked over to Ianto,  gently resting his hands on the young man's shoulders.
"But you ended up saving us, like always, Jack Harkness, the knight in shining armour. Swooning every species at his feet while kicking ass."
Jack sighed.
"I'm not entirely made of sex and fury Ianto. You'd see that if you'd be around me more."
"During the limited time whereas you're not making innuendos, having sex, eating, or doing your job?"
The captain smiled slightly and kneeled at the side of Ianto's chair.
"InYOUendos."
"Jesus Christ." Ianto snickered and covered up his face with his hand.
"No, I'm Jack, but I can make you say 'Christ'."
"Okay, I think that's your limit."
"What's yours?"
"Jack, I swear-"
"That's my name don't wear it out."
Ianto groaned and stood up, and Jack followed suit.
"Thank you Jack, though you decreased the seriousness of whatever this was at the end."
Jack pulled Ianto into a hug and patted his back softly. The younger man clenched his hands in Jack's shirt, then let out a small sigh.
"Still think it's the aftershave." He whispered and let go of Jack, turning to leave.
"Wait."
Jack pulled Ianto back and pressed his lips against the other's. Ianto froze but slowly loosened up and joined the kiss, moving his lips with Jack's, occasionally drawing breath.
They broke apart, gasping, and Ianto drew back, placing his hands on his hips, slightly breathless.
"See you tomorrow?" Jack asked quietly.
"Ah, um, yeah, yes."  Ianto replied, still a bit out of it.
"Till next time Jones, Ianto Jones." Jack smirked as Ianto left his office. "At least you're walking straight!"
"Up yours Jack Harkness!"
"Bet you will be!" The captain retorted as he heard the cog door alarm blaring, signaling Ianto had left the Hub.
