The red alarm was blaring throughout the Hub, indicating that it was under complete lockdown. Weapons and most room were sealed off, the entrance as well.
A woman's piercing scream followed by a man's echoed off the walls and the sound of a gun was heard then silence.
"Only two left, the Captain and the Genius, who shall be next?" A voice hummed coyly, heard all around.
Toshiko was hidden behind a set of cases in the meeting room, her gun in hand as the figure entered silently.
"Tosh, come out come out." The assailant cooed in a singsong tone.
Tosh wasn't able to get a shot from her position, and bit down on her fist to keep from making any noise.
The figure seemed to give up and exited the room, letting Tosh breathe a sigh of relief.
Suddenly the barrel of a gun was pressed to her head, making her suck in a terrified gasp.
"Found you." Was all that was heard before Tosh screamed and the gun went off, splattering red everywhere.
Jack was cursing silently in his office, the cupboard he was in doing no help as to block the screams of his fellow teammates. Footsteps on the stairs alerted him that he should move to a better position if he didn't want to be trapped.
He quickly burst from the cabinet as quietly as he could, running towards the meeting room.
Jack's dead sprint was halted when the attacker appeared in front of him, gun to his chest.
"Ianto, you don't have to do this."
The foe stepped forth, revealing themselves as Torchwood Three's own archivist, a sly smirk on his face, the red alarm lights showing the flecks of red across his outfit.
"Sorry sir, but rules are rules."
"I can't die, you know that."
The tea boy gave his signature eye roll before pulling the trigger, making red flow across his boss's shirt.
Jack groaned and looked up at Ianto as the lights came on, signally the lockdown was over.
"One of my favorite shirt's Yan."
The grunts and moans of the other team members came from various points of the Hub, as well as a few curses from Owen about cleaning.
"You're dead, doesn't matter." Ianto grinned and holstered his gun, heading off to enjoy the first place prize of a day off.
"I hate paintball." Jack muttered.
"How the hell is Tea Boy over there so damn good at it anyway! He just makes the coffee and occasionally comes along on a mission. Occasionally!"
"Because I'm James Bond." Ianto's response was heard.
Tosh, Gwen, and Jack had a good laugh while Owen still sat grumbling, obviously embarrassed about the red paint stains on the crotch of his pants, matching the two over his nipples.
