Chapter 1

Sam sat quietly in the living room of the surprisingly clean dorm, her attention drawn to her phone as she scrolled through her twitter feed. Gossip of the latest bands and artist popping up to the surface of the screen, along with a few interesting things her friends had done recently. She sighed to herself, for some reason she felt that out of all her friends her life was least interesting.

"Yah Sammie!" She heard a raspy voice in front of her and looked up to see her best friend snapping her phone out of her hand.

"You've been here for an hour already and I swear you've muttered more words to that screen than you have to my face" Tae pouted as he slipped her phone into his front jean pocket and took a seat next to her on the sofa.

"Give it back!" She said loudly trying to reach for it, only to be stopped by his hands. She narrowed her eyes at her best friend trying to look menacing but Tae simply rolled his eyes.

"Nope, you came to my house to spend time with me and that my lovely friend is what you shall do." He said smiling and Sam's heart skipped a beat at his use of the word 'lovely' but she simply brushed the feeling off.

She and Taehyung had been friends since third grade, she understood that like many close friends they had a unique relationship. One that many people didn't quite understand and yet at the same time they didn't question it either.

"But Tae! At least let me text the rest of the girls and let them know I'm here. You know they worry about me." Sam whined, trying to think of any excuse to get her phone back. Tae just shrugged in response and refused to budge.

"I'm sure the rest of the Bangtan Girls will survive a couple hours without you." He smirked and Sam tried to hide the blush that crept up her cheeks. Taehyung took advantage of his friend's embarrassment and poked her side making her squirm away. He laughed wholeheartedly and pulled her closer into his side while he spoke to her.

"Don't be embarrassed Sammie, we've all known for a while now. The rest of the guys think it's cute. I mean we're flattered." He said, chuckling at his friend's red face and he turned her head to him and pulled her closer leaning over to whisper in her ear.

"I think Umnie is my bias..." he said softly and his breath tickled her ear as he giggled. Sam smacked his chest and pushed him away the blood draining from her face as he mentioned her "stage name".

"Aish! Tae stop!! Just put the damn movie on" she said hiding her face and Tae just laughed reaching over to the small coffee table to grab the remote. He started flipping through the channels until he found a movie he thought they'd both enjoy. He kicked his feet up on the coffee table and lazily rested his arm around Sam's shoulder, an action that she had now grown used to. She gave him a small smile and scooted closer laying her head on his arm trying to get comfortable. And together they watched the movie in silence, the phone in Taehyung's pocket long forgotten as well as any mention or embarrassment of BTG.

After what seemed like hours of watching tv Sam felt a dip in the cushion of the sofa and moved her gaze over to the figure that now inhabited the left side of the couch. Yoongi gave her a small smile and a quick nod in greeting. She whispered her hellos trying to be quiet as Taehyung had fallen asleep and now had his head hanging back, mouth slightly open as quiet snores escaped his pink lips. Sam watched as Yoongi rolled his eyes at his friend and snatched the remote away from Taehyung's loose grip.

Taehyung stirred slightly, his hold on Sam tightening as he pulled her closer. She giggled as she reached her hand under his chin, touching his face carefully and watching his mouth open wider as his snores grow a bit louder.
