First Love
Yoongi sighed in frustration as he pushed himself away from the old beaten up piano in their practice room. Checking his wristwatch he saw that it was a little past midnight and he groaned knowing it was going to be a long night. He had been trying to write his solo song for the group's upcoming album but words seemed to escape him. He had an idea of how he wanted it to sound but nothing concrete yet. And lyrics? He bit his bottom lip, looking down at the almost empty notebook.
His head hurt, he had never had this much trouble piecing together a song. He thought about texting Namjoon for advice but simply pushed his phone away in the end... he wanted this to be special, something he did on his own. But today was not his day.
Yoongi stood up and stretched, slowly rolling his neck and reaching his arms over his head. He started walking toward the door, maybe he just needed to leave the room for a bit. But he stopped when he heard voices outside in the hall. He was shocked that there was still staff here this late.
"And this here is Bangtan's practice room, please refrain from coming near it as they are working on a comeback and need to focus." Yoongi heard the male staff member say and he resisted the urge to roll his eyes. It's not like that warning stopped everyone else from coming and interrupting them.
"Until your studio is ready please feel free to practice choreography or performances in rooms C or E." Yoongi frowned, looking at his somber reflection in the mirror. He assumed it was one of the managers giving the new rookie groups a tour of the building. He remembered receiving that same tour all those years ago. He had heard that the company was planning on debuting two new groups but no one had told them that they had already picked the members.
"Is that really Bts's room?" He heard a familiar feminine voice ask and he opened the door to take a peek.
...
Skye stood frozen in her place as she heard Sam ask the question they had all been dying to ask. She knew she was staring at the door, probably in a weird way, but she couldn't help it. She was just a few feet away from the place where her idols practiced and danced. She imagined herself walking in to the room to find Jimin and Jhope in the middle of a dance battle, fighting for the right to call themselves 'choreography leaders' while the rest of the guys laid on the ground tired from practice maybe even sleeping in exhaustion.
At least, she assumed things like that happened. She had been dying to meet the Bangtan boys for a while now. She and the rest of the girls had only my met Taehyung and each time he came to visit Sam he promised he'd return with the boys the next time but he had never fulfilled that promise. Jerk.
Skye instinctively took a step towards the door, her feet moving on their own will. She hoped to catch a glimpse of the boys but when her hand touched the door handle when she felt a gentle tug on her shoulder. She looked to see Nina shaking her head no. Skye sighed pouting a bit at their leader but gave in, so close yet so far.
Skye was about to turn away and follow the rest of BTG down the hall way to their temporary studio when the door opened a bit and a blonde head popped out. Her eyes widened in shock as she made eye contact with the person inside.
Yoongi locked eyes with the pretty girl that stood in front of him, he squinted his eyes a bit trying to remember where he had seen her face. He gave her an amused smile as he saw she was still in shock and holding her breath. He leaned in a bit closer to where she stood frozen in place.
"Breathe" he whispered and watched as the girl took a staggering breath.
"S-s-suga" she stammered, and he gave her a gummy smile and a small bow.
