Samila –Namjoon
~The Perfectionist~
Samila looked over at Julie trying to imitate her steps. Julie had taken some extra time after practice to try to teach her the moves to their upcoming Save Me performance but she could still see that her band mate was having a bit of trouble.
"I think that's good enough for today" Julie said giving her friend a smile. "Why don't we go home? I heard Skye saying something about some of Bangtan coming over for a movie."
Samila simply shook her head no, she walked over to the speaker playing the song from the beginning and taking her place in front of the mirror. The desire to get it perfect winning over the desire to hang out with her friends.
"You go ahead. I'll catch up with you guys in a bit" she said looking at Julie through the mirror of their studio. She took a deep breath and tried her hardest to focus on her timing. She had no idea how she was gonna rap and dance at the same time. Worry filled her mind again, she felt conflicted and burdened.
"Don't work too hard girl, you'll get it. It's okay to take a break sometimes. " Julie said looking at Samila with a concerned expression but decided it was best for her to leave her friend alone for a bit. She gave her friend one final look before picking up her bag and walking out the door.
As she exited her practice room she saw two figures exit theirs as well, but she didn't pay them any mind, instead she pulled out her phone and texted the girls telling them she was on her way home. Julie pressed the send button on her screen and locked it. Still walking down the hall she quietly dug around in her bag searching for her headphones to listen to music on the walk home.
Jungkook looked in Namjoon's direction as they exited their practice room, he had been working on his solo song and had needed a bit of help with the melody and his hyung had tried to help him as best he could. But that idea had been a bust, he noticed that Namjoon wore a somber expression and no matter how hard he tried to get Namjoon to crack a smile it didn't seem to be working. He decided he needed a break from Namjoon and maybe a break from people in general. He headed down the hall of the building away from him pulling out his phone to text Jin and tell him he was gonna be out a bit later than expected. As he was typing the message he bumped in to a smaller figure sending her plummeting to the floor, the contents of her purse now scattered before her.
Julie groaned looking at the spilled things before her, who did that guy think he was! Going around knocking people over... She was going to give him a piece of her mind, as soon as she picked everything up.
"Hey! watch wh-where..." she trailed off awestruck when she saw who it was that so clumsily pushed her down.
"I'm sorry, I should have paid closer attention... are you okay?" Jungkook asked extending his hand out to her. She nodded nervously taking his warm hand in hers and allowing him to pull her up. She blushed a bit at the skin contact and looked away from him trying to calm herself down so she didn't look like a complete crazy person. Taking deep breaths didn't seem to be working.
Jungkook watched amused as the cute girl in front of him became flustered. He found it adorable how she tucked her hair behind her ears and avoided eye contact and as much as he wished he could stare at her all day he knew it was time for him to go home. He patted her shoulder gently trying to bring her attention back on him.
"Well it was nice to meet you. Sorry about earlier but I have to get going. See you around!" He finished flashing her a smile. Julie felt like her heart was about to pop out of her chest and yet she somehow managed to find her words and speak.
