Jasmin sat on the uncomfortable makeup chair that the music show had backstage, closing her eyes she let the stylist apply more blush and touch up to her face. They had finished shooting a live performance of one of the songs and now they were getting ready to do one on one interviews with all the members. She smiled as she watched Nina go through her interview first, being one of the younger members she had a feeling she'd be going 4th or 5th. She was mentally preparing herself for any questions they'd throw her way. As the 'mysterious' one of the group she always enjoyed giving vague answers in hopes of confusing the interviewer, but lately she had been feeling a little out of it.
"5 minutes!" She heard one of the assistants yell and she played with her fingers feeling the nerves kick in.
She had been doing this for months and it still hadn't gotten easier... if anything it almost felt worse. She hated the spotlight, having cameras in her face and everywhere she went. It was rare when the girls had privacy. Ever since they had opened for Kcon their popularity had risen, they now had a fan base that they hadn't named yet, but the fans themselves were persistent with their comments. BTG had their own V live account recently set up and their manager required them to record 2 weekly 'spontaneous' shows of at least 5 minutes or more. Ms. Choi insisted they do it as often as posible so that fans could get to know them. And today apart from this music show it was JG's turn to do a live.
"Okay rookie, you're up. Remember no cursing, no looking directly at the audience or the camera, smile as much as possible and just try to have fun with it" said the assistant that was showing her back to the set.
"I got it, thanks" JG responded dryly, how much fun could a forced conversation be? But she did promise her unnies that she would try and be good. So that was what she would do.
She sat on the hard sofa that they had on set and fixed her lace cream colored skirt that the stylists had forced her to wear.
Breathe... she thought to herself, you can do it.
The interviewer gave her a warm smile and JG felt her nerves calm a bit. She heard somewhere in the room the director start the count down.

Alright JG, it's show time.
...
"Oh god! I never want to see my face on tv again." Nina said trying her hardest not to throw something at the tv in the living room. Jasmin smiled at her eomma, grabbing a pillow off the sofa and leaning back hugging it, the rest of the girls scattered in the living room.
"That's nothing!" Sam said pointing at herself in the tv, she had paused it and was now standing directly in front of it pointing at something on her face.
"Do you see the size of that thing? I think they made it bigger on purpose. They did not need to zoom in that close" she narrowed her eyes at the screen, " I bet you it was the assistant! I knew he didn't like me" she finished pouting but going over to hand the remote to Nina and sit down.
"You had it easy... I swear that interviewer was out to get me. Bish asked me if I was old enough to be on her show." Evan said staring at the screen in anger, " I almost slapped her right there."
Everyone laughed at their maknaes words and Julie finally spoke up.
"I don't know what you guys are talking about, I thought she was a delight" she said smiling and Samila threw a pillow her way.
