I woke up the next morning. I brought Max a cup of coffee. He still wasn't fully conscious. The doctor told me to wait a few days then he should regain full consciousness. I cared for him for a week. He didn't seem to be getting better so I scheduled a appointment with the doctor. She said he had a rare form of concussion. He was admitted into the hospital. There he started to do bad. He blacked out, his heart rate slowed, his breathing was uneven, and I felt like it wasn't a little fight anymore. I stayed by his side and cried most of the time. He was blacked out for weeks. The nurses tried to tell me in the nicest way possible that he probably won't wake up. I knew he would wake up but I didn't know when.
