The lights hurt my eyes, it took long for them to adjust. I tried to move, but everything hurt. Then memories came flooding back, my mind unwillingly went back to him, before anything else.
Was he okay?
Other questions came after.
Where was I?
How was I alive?

I laid in a white small hospital room, a blank wall to my right and a one way glass to my left.

The door swung open, startling me- it was Kennedy.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"What happened?" I demanded.

"You need to remain calm." She spoke, "you could open your stitches."

"It was all a damn test wasn't it?"

"Just relax." She spoke over me.

"Where am I?" I demanded, "where are they?"

"I approve of this just as much as you do." She said.

"Where are they?" I repeated.

"Just a few doors down." She pointed to my left, "listen, they're doing great. They haven't broken."

"So you're still torturing them?" I asked, yanking out the IV out of my hand.

"What are you doing?" She demanded as I pulled the covers out of the way and got to my feet, reaching for my clothes on the chair. Not caring she was there and started to change.

"Don't make me go over your head, Kennedy." I said as she tried to stop me. I opened the door and walked down the empty hall.

"You can't do this." She said as she kept up with me. I opened the two first doors I found. Both empty.

"Go away." I told her before I started calling out. "Fred! Irving!" I called as loud as my scratchy throat would let me.

"Katherine, you can't." She insisted.

"Oh, I'll call him up right now." I told her, referring to my father, "you know this is wrong! Irving!!"

I heard faint calls a few doors down. I pushed the door open, several men in masks looked my way in surprise as I walked in, clutching my side.

"Let them go." I told the hooded men standing around the beaten men who looked up at me as if they've seen a ghost, "water boarding, seriously?"

"What the hell is going on here?" A familiar voice came from the doorway.

"Did you know about this?" I asked Hurley as I tried to ignore the pain in my side.

"I just got here," Hurley walked in, "what happened to you?" His eyes darted around my face.

"What happened, Kennedy?" I turned to her.

"I think we need to talk in private." She answered, gesturing to the door.

I glanced back at my friends still strapped down on the floor, "What the hell are you waiting for?" I yelled at the guards, "Untie them!"
