lane finally began to realise the length of trouble michael went through to surprised her. she couldn't imagine herself doing what he had done. she was more than grateful that michael was patient - and thoughtful - enough to sit through such a long journey to surprise her.
he was even more attractive in person. she couldn't believe the way she felt about this boy. in such a short amount of time, he had managed to make the girl who didn't believe in love, fall hard. she was so in love with the way he spoke, the way he laughed when he couldn't think of what to say, even - scrape that - especially when he blushed straight after kissing her.
she knew it wasn't allowed either. if her father ever knew michael was with her, he would kill her. he was the type of father who only let their children see who they approved of, and she was never allowed to live her own life. she wasn't allowed to make mistakes. that's why michael was important to her.
