Chapter 18
Everil
The teleport sent me straight to a place I definitely didn't recognize. I sighed, because of course, how would I know the destination when I teleport so randomly on purpose. I was now on some grassy plain, but I could see a town not too far away.
I called out for Zaphkiel, Destiny and Emma, but got no response. I figured maybe they were in town, and teleportation happened here because at the moment I teleported to them they had flown over this place towards the town. They might not even be together, but I was sure that even if that was the case we would find each other easily. Oh well, the fact that I teleported to an empty place was good, since I wouldn't just randomly appear before someone. They'd probably piss themselves if I did that.
I then proceeded to walk towards the city. Compared to Indobi, this city was much more normal. I aimlessly walked around the streets, just looking for anybody familiar. The streets were dotted with people freely chatting away with each other. A nice breeze was rustling around, taking my long blonde hair with it. I should definitely cut it when I can.
At the moment I contemplated where I could cut my hair, the breeze got stronger and a hand rested on my shoulder. I sensed no bad intentions from the owner of the hand, so I calmly turned around.
"Hello," a brown haired chocolate skinned boy greeted me. He's short.
"Uh, hello," I replied hesitantly.
He smiled, "I knew you would come. Follow me, please."
"What's with everybody knowing I would come to them?" I grumbled under my breath.
"I will explain that later," the boy told me. I looked at him, startled because I had said that so quietly. How could he possibly have heard me?
He started walking in some random direction so I just followed him. What could be the harm, right? He led me through many streets to a neighborhood that genuinely seemed really nice, even nicer than the one we were in before. The houses were looked cosy, clearly designed for families. After walking for a while the boy stopped in front of a gold roofed light blue house and smiled.
"This is it. Please come in, we have a lot to talk about."
I stepped in, but stopped immediately. Everything seemed to be light blue and gold themed. As much as I wondered why, it also seemed strangely familiar.
I spotted some family pictures on a wall. I took off my boots, and walked over to them.
Five is like a rule here, I amusedly thought. There were pictures of five different looking families. Each dressed in the colours I have seen everywhere. Purple, blue, gold-blue, red and green. I gasped as I started to realize something.
I turned on my heel and looked at the boy, "Does the number five symbolize something? Something that is connected to these colours?"
He looked taken aback at my sudden question. His eyes turned concerned, "Yeah, they symbolize the royal families, you don't know this?"
"So this means that this house," I stopped to look at the brightly smiling portrait of people with gold-light blue robes and let out a gasp. On the last picture there was a chocolate-skinned boy with curly hair and gold-ish brown eyes with a section of blue in the left eye.
"Are you okay?" The boy asked me. I whipped my head at him to look in his gold-ish brown eyes with a blue section in his left eye. I gasped and the Crystal on my neck started pulsating. I scrambled to take my scarf off and touch it.
He had a really confused look until he saw the Crystal. He took a step towards me, hesitantly lifted the sleeve of my loose cardigan to look at my shoulder and his eyes widened. He let out a sob and hugged me.
"You're Liz. Oh god. I-" He started but stopped and squeezed me. I hugged him back.
"I don't remember your name, but I can tell I've known you before."
He gently pushed me away but still held my shoulders as he looked at me.
"It's really you. You're here," his eyes widened and he smiled widely, "This means you have found at least some of the others, yes? You were travelling in a group of four, were they all the others?"
"Wha- how did you know? I didn't catch your name either," I scolded.
"Hughes. I hate that name so everyone calls me Hugo. Anyway, you should tell me about the others," he said still smiling. The laughter lines on his face showed that he smiled a lot, "Oh, how rude of me, let's go and sit."
We did as he said and I started to tell him everything, "So I was travelling with Zaphkiel and Emma and Destiny, but we were chased by the Queen's soldiers after we were discovered in the Were-" He cut me off.
"So you haven't found Finn yet? Oh, shame. I know that you came from the mountain in a forest in the southwest and where you have been. But tell me, what are we doing next then?"
I stared at him in disbelief, "Uh, once again, how do you know?"
"The air. You know, with being the royal air wielder, I'm basically one with the air. I sensed you entering Dlefen from somewhere strange right away. Who was it, that you came here with?"
"Uh, well," I was out of words, "That's really cool. Zaphkiel came to get me from Earth. Then Destiny and Merida came with us from the Werewolf Kingdom, but Merida found her mate at Indobi, and they went back to the Kingdom, but Emma joined soon after. Now that I've found you I guess we just have to find the royal water wielder, I assume that's the Finn you mentioned? Only one thing, I don't know where the others are now either so," my voice trailed off.
"I have been tracking you all from the moment you separated. One of you is running towards this town pretty quickly, the other two reunited earlier and are also coming, although I can't seem to detect how are they moving that quickly."
"They're coming? That's good," I sighed in relief. A moment later a loud crash sounded outside and someone screamed. I shot up in alarm, but Hugo just stood up with a smile on his face.
"It seems like the two already arrived," he cheerily told me. I smiled at him and rushed outside.
After I opened the door I was hug-attacked by two people. I giggled as I almost fell over, but managed to balance us.
"You guys really missed me, huh?" I teased them. Zaphkiel coughed and stopped hugging me instantly.
"Not really," he said, looking elsewhere.
I laughed and hugged Emma back, "Let's go inside, you must be tired, Em."
She nodded and I almost missed it, but Zaphkiel saw it clearly and he scooped her up in his arms to carry her inside. I wiggled my eyebrows and smirked but he just rolled his eyes with a blush rising to his cheeks.
"So there's already a couple, huh?" a voice said behind me. Zaphkiel tensed, but I just laughed.
"You know it," I told Hugo.
"Liz, we're not a-a-a," Zaphkiel stuttered and I laughed.
"Okay, okay," I threw my hands up to surrender. Luckily Emma had already fallen asleep in Zaphkiel's arms.

FantasyI'm bad at descriptions. But the story is about Elizabeth. Everybody rather calls her Liz though. I like dragons, and apparently so do all of the people of Dlefen. Who said they were the only mythical creatures? -.-.-.-.-.-.-.- I'm moving this over...
