Of course Toy Bonnie and I didn't speak that night shift, we were in different parts of the building and weren't supposed to wander too far away from them. The night passed pretty quickly though, and I found myself awake during most of it, listening to my music and thinking.

By time it was morning, I was already awake because I had been awake the whole time, from twelve to seven. Without one lick of sleep.

Toy Bonnie still came around to visit before we opened. I again listened to his footsteps, popping up just as he came close. It didn't scare him now which slightly irritated me. My head rested comfortably on my fist, and he did the same thing as I did.

"Helloooo." He greeted me.

"Hi." I said, my usual 'grin' spreading across my face. "How much longer until we open?"

"Um... About ten minutes. So we have a little while to talk."

"What do you want to talk about exactly?"

"I don't know and I don't care. As long as I'm talking to you."

I laughed at the cheesy remark but blushed nonetheless. "That was very cheesy."

"Oh, Marionette. It does not matter how cheesy the remark is," he raised a finger up and talked in a professional voice. "But how much thought is put into it."

That made me laugh even more.

"What?" Toy Bonnie asked, chuckling.

"Look," I started off seriously. "If you want me to be yours, you can't do all that sentimental shit. Just say what's on your mind."

He raised and eyebrow and gave me a smolder. "Aw really?"

I pretended to stroke the side of his face for a second, resulting in his eyes perking all the way up, but then I pushed it to the side playfully.

"Yes, really." I said, hopping out of the box and stretching my stiff limbs. He observed me while I did so.

"Damn Mari. You're so..."

"Unexpected? Miscellaneous?"

He rubbed the back of his head. "I was just gonna say hot but...that works too."

I smirked and punch him jokingly. "You're funny, you know that?"

He watched me while he rubbed at the arm I had struck. "I wasn't trying to be." He chuckled. "And damn you hurt my arm!" He joked.

"Aw, you want me to kiss it better?"

"Yes..." he pouted.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh Bonnie! Really? Just had to add that extra in huh?"

"Yas, of course."

I laughed some more, but then the sight of something behind Bonnie caught my eyes. It was the same employee that had defended me before. And he was walking with the same blonde headed girl. Right over to me.

My expression grew blank. "Uh Bonnie..." I turned him around and his smile faded.

"Oh hey John!" Toy Bonnie greeted the employee, shaking his hand as he frequently glanced at the blond girl who obviously didn't want to be here. "Who's this?" He added a bit of edge to his voice.

"Oh..." John said, looking back at the girl. "This is Katie. And she's gonna be working here now."

Katie glared behind Bonnie at me but stopped when I took a step closer and stood next to Bonnie. Apparently she did not think I was the height I was. Even though I was the shortest animatronic (other than Balloon Boy), I was still a little taller than Katie.

Bonnie saw the tension between us and tried to set it aside. "So, hi Katie!" Bonnie held out a hand that she didn't take. "I'm Bonnie, and this is Marionette."

Neither of us greeted each other.

"Uh can this one talk?" She said rudely.

"I can when I choose too." I spat back, squinting my eyes.

She was taken back by my odd voice, but her attitude stayed, and she continued to stare at me.

"So can you like just tell me what to do now?!" Katie said.

John sighed. "I'm telling you right now, little girl. Having an attitude like that isn't gonna get you anywhere. And your job is too make sure the kids here are as happy as they can be. Got it?"

She rolled her eyes. "Got it."

"Good." John said, pleased. "Now, I've got to make sure everything's ready for the day. You...make friends with the others." And with that, he left.

Katie stared at us, loathing each second she had to be near us. "Uhh," she growled. "I didn't even want a job let alone this one! My mom made me! Uhhh!"

I snickered.

"Oh, what do you want?" She said angrily.

"If I wanted something I would have told you."

"You're such a bitch!" She exclaimed, balling her hands into fists.

I smiled mischievously. "Thank you."

"Uhh!" She growled again and mumbled. "This is so stupid..."

"Then why don't ya leave? Oh? You can't cause your mom made you?" I said while chuckling.

"You—You—" I stuttered.

"I what?"

"I'm leaving!" She said, gritting her teeth as she stormed off leaving just Bonnie and I there.

"Well... You handled that well..." Bonnie blinked.

"The only way to deal with a moody teen is be a moody teen back."

He held out his hand for a high five, and I happily gave him one. People began to come though the doors, so I began to hop back into my box as he went back to the Show Stage. Things would be a tad bit different know that Katie was here.
