Alright so this chapter is going to be about Horace and how I feel would be a good way to write him in a fic.

Horace is such a smol yet sophisticated character! In the first book you see more of his sophisticated side I feel. He always holds himself in a specific way and is so proper with the way he speak (which is a big part of his character)

He cares yet I feel like he's afraid to let certain things past him in fear it might break him, if that makes any sense.

This poor baby has to deal with these horrible prophecies sitting on his chest. He can't get rid of them, he can't stop them. He probably gets barely any sleep and yet he's still so helpful!

In my opinion I think Horace is the loneliest of the peculiar children. He truly doesn't get enough credit for what he's done, he's really seen as a useless character but he's not.

Then you have his softer side which is shown in the picture above. Enoch's being a little jerk face and needs to love Horace but he's just so smol and scared right there it hurts me and gah he's so cute someone help lets get back on topic now Jesus Christ

So overall:

You need to make him sophisticated, especially with his speech. He's an emotional character but I highly doubt he would be someone to get attached to another person easily so keep that in mind!
