Teen Comet

Chapter 2

I got to the library to see Peyton sitting in front of the computer. I see she pulled a picture of a comet on to the computer.

"Hey," I said as I walked up taking the seat next to her. "Did you find something?"

"No, all it keeps mentioning is like how a comet is formed," Peyton replied.

I look to see she had the same bracelet I did, but orange strap with an orange crystal. While mine was a pink strap with a silver crystal.

"Hey you have the same one as I do," I told her as I pointed to her bracelet.

"You got one to," Peyton asked?

I nodded. "Found it in my cooking locker."

"Weird, I wonder if everyone else has one too," Peyton asked?

"Maybe," I replied.

Peyton sighed and continued scrolling.

"Wait Peyton stop there," I told her.

On the screen was the same comet that gave us our powers. Peyton clicked the link and it talks about the comet.

"Comet Magna," I read. "Is a comet thats made of more than one atom. Containing ammense power. Those who touch it and have a kind heart will be given powers."

"Well there's that," Peyton responded.

"Come on we better go find everyone else," I told her.

Peyton nodded printed the paper. Then we made our way to the band room where can hear Avery singing Alexander Hamilton with Riley.

"Hey," Eric said as I sat with him and Jenna.

"Did you guys find anything," Jenna asked?

"The comet is what gave us our powers, and there will be other comets coming down here with the same energy as the one that gave us our power," I replied.

"Any chance did you get a bracelet like this," Eric asked as he showed me his beaded bracelet, but had a red crystal hanging off it the same crystal as Peyton and I.

"Yes, same with Peyton," I replied. "Jenna do you have one."

Jenna nodded. "So does Melinda, Avery, and we texted Rece he has one too."

I nodded.

"Hey Rece has something that he wants to show us after school," Melinda told us as she squat walked over to us.

"What is it," I asked?

"I don't know he wouldn't say," Melinda replied.

"Well we have one more period till we meet him," Eric implied.

"Hey fellers," we heard someone say.

"Was that Rece," One of the band kids James asked?

"I don't think so," Melinda replied.

I looked at the bracelet on my wrist.

"Rece," I whispered.

"Yes," Rece whispered back.

I looked at Eric we both got up and walked off to a more private spot, so no one can hear Rece.

"Rece how are you talking to us through the bracelet," Eric asked?

"I don't know, I got bored so I got busy to make something to go with our superhero powers," Rece replied. "And I thought of what you guys would think at first I thought it didn't work, but then I heard you guys talking."
