Teen Comet

chapter 24

I can feel Masons arm wrapped around me. Keeping me warm. Except no matter how much I tried I couldn't fall asleep.

With that I grabbed my keys and went for a drive. Which ended up me just going to the lair. Where I just sat there and watching Greys Anatomy.

"Kristine," I heard someone say my name.

I look to see it was Peyton. With her blanket wrapped around her. Walking down the stairs.

"What are you doing here," I asked her?

"I was going to ask you the same thing," Peyton replied.

"I couldn't sleep," I told her.

"Wasn't Mason spending the night," Peyton asked?

"He is, but I couldn't sleep," I told her.

"Guys," we heard another voice. To our surprise it was Riley.

"Well nice to know I'm not the only one who decided to come here," Riley implied.

"Great minds think a like," Peyton replied.

"I can't help, but look back at all the memories we had as Teen Comet though," I added.

"Same here," Peyton replied.

"Like when were out testing Rece when he only had his speed power," Riley implied.

I looked at the moment.

Flashback...

"Okay want you guys to time me," Rece told us.

We looked at each other. Thinking it wasn't going to be a big deal.

Then we just hit the watch and he was back in time with curly fries. Which Riley, Peyton and I started to eat.

"What about we race," I implied. "The first person to get this spot wins."

"I'm in," Rece replied.
Peyton and Riley gave me a weird look.

"On your mark, get set, go," I said calling it off.

"Kristine there's no way we're going to be him," Peyton added.

"I know, but there's nothing wrong sitting here and eating all of the curly fries," I implied.

They both laughed. Then we laid on the grass and waited for Rece to get back.

Back to reality...

"I remember that," I told them.

"Hey guys," I heard Melinda's voice coming down the stairs.

"Well it looks like we're not the only ones here," Rece added behind her.

"This reminds me of when we took a ride on the ship," Peyton implied.

"When we were out of our atmosphere and ended up being at that weird planet," Melinda asked?

Peyton nodded.

Flashback...

"Hey guys let's do something," I asked them?

"Like what," Rece asked me back?

"Let's take the ship for a ride," I replied.

"Is that smart," Riley asked?

"Like all of us aren't here," Peyton added.

"Come on guys lets have some fun," Melinda said fist bumping me.

With that the other three sighed and we climbed in. Me being me I just took them whenever. We saw all the planets from in our atmosphere.

"Okay let's turn back around," Peyton suggested.
