Teen Comet

chapter 7

 "We are here," Jenna screamed as my mom pulled up to Oakmont.

My mom pulled up to where everyone in band was. I look to see the Teen Comet was here as well. Including Rece. Even though he already graduated.

"Bye mom," I said we all climbed out. "Okay, guard just relax and make sure you are make up ready before we go change."

They nodded. I look around then Mason caught my eyes. Mason was talking with Shawn and Adam.

"Kristine, quit drooling," my best friend Bailey said as she walked up to me.

"I'm not drooling," I told Bailey.

"Sure your not," Bailey replied before she walked over to her boyfriend Cooper.

"Hey," Mason spoke from behind. Which made me jump.

"Mason you scared me," I told him.

"Sorry," Mason replied. "Didn't think doing that would scare you."

"Its fine, but what up," I asked?

"Nothing, I just wanted to talk that's all." 

"Ahh, so anyone here catch your eye," I asked?

"No not really, not looking into dating right now," Mason told me.

"Why," I asked?

"Because I want to focus with school, band and you know," Mason said as he leaned into my ear.  "Plus being Super Gold."

"Ahh, I don't blame you there," I whispered back.

"Hey you guys lets go get changed," Koutney yelled!

I looked at the guard. Got our bags then made our way to the restroom to go change. Once we got there as Jasmine and I charged for the big stall. 

"So Kristine did Mason ask you out," I heard Avery ask?

"No he didn't, and he isn't looking into dating anyone," I replied.

"Why," Peyton asked?

"Reasons," I replied.

"But come on you two would be perfect together," Riley spoke from the guys restroom.

"Riley no ease dropping," I yelled back.

"Well its hard for me not to listen," Riley yelled back.

I walked out of the stall dressed. To see all of them smirking.  I stuck my tongue out and waited outside for them to be done.

Once they we were done we walked back to where the band was. I look to see they were starting to warm up. I quickly finished my make up. Which was hard because Rece kept moving Jasmine's truck 

"Rece, don't make me start bolt you till tomorrow," I whispered.

"Sorry," Rece said as he hopped off. 

"Hi mom," I said as I saw her talking with Peyton's mom.

"Alright guys across the floors," I told everyone in guard.

Once we were done. We were waiting to go on to perform.  I can see Mason from up ahead. He had his thinking face on. Which he did to rethink the drill and everything.

I then see him open his eyes. Mason was able to throw a smile my way as well. I couldn't help, but smile back.

"Kristine quit blushing," I heard Jasmine whisper.

I stuck my tongue towards him. 

"You should save that for Mason," Jasmine replied.

"Jasmine," Melinda responded for me.
