Teen Comet

chapter 17

As I waited for Riley and our friend Alyssa out of Crabtrees classroom. I heard Riley moan like no other. Which I couldn't help, but laugh.

"What happened?'

"She made us watch a video on world war two," Alyssa complained.

"Why," I asked?

"We're in German history right now,"Riley replied.

"Well it is important part of history," I implied.

"True, but now I feel all so depressed about the whole thing," Alyssa added.

I couldn't help, but laugh. With that I joined them at the band room. Since i have fourth period off. And I'm too lazy to walk home.

"Hey Kristine," I heard Rece say as he joined me outside.

"What are you doing here," I asked him?

"I'm bored and I mostly hang out with you guys," Rece implied.

"Well you want to go to Nubbins and then come back," I asked him?

Rece nodded and with that we walked over. Which turned to us flying in the air. 

"Oh shoot we passed Nubbins," I told him as I looked down.

Rece laughed. We hid in the alley way.

We stood in line waiting to order.

"How many gems do we still have to find," Rece asked?

"At least seven more," I replied.

"That's still a long way to go," Rece implied.

"True, but we got this," I told him.

We ordered our food. Then I ordered everyone else's food just to be nice. We flew back to the school. Into the band room transformed to our normal clothing.

Then we waited for everyone outside.

"Oh my gosh," Melinda said charging over as she walked to the bandroom.

"Is that for us,"Peyton asked?

I nodded.

I grabbed Mason, Eric, Riley, and Bailey's food.

"Hey Bailey," I said as I handed her food. 

"Babe, Eric, and Riley," I called.
They all ran over.

"Kristine something is happening outside," Peyton said coming into the bandroom.

"What is it," I asked?

"Just come outside," Peyton replied.

I listened and followed her outside. I look to see a dark vortex up in the sky. Once I ran out there with Mason and the guys behind me.

I look to see everyone, but us teen comet stopped moving. I looked at the Shawn who tossed a drumstick in the air. The drumstick stopped and it literally looks like its going to hit.

"Alright guys we better going into that vortex to see what's going on," I told everyone.

"Are sure that's a good thing, " Melinda asked?

"I do, I feel something bad is happening is the reason why this is all happening," I replied.

"Alright, let's go," Mason added.

I looked at everyone and myself wasn't moving at all.

"Okay who's is going first," I asked?

No one responded.
