CHAPTER 8 Why did he choose me?
the movie we saw was great it was called endless (A/N:its not a real movie that i know of).after the movie we invited carter and Jennifer to have pizza and ice cream with us.we laughed,joked and had a good time til i saw Tiffany's boyfriend Scott the jock.he was just as big a bully as Tiffany and he's on the football team.'big deal.he's just a drama king to go with her drama queen.'gin said not impressed.'as true as that may be they control the school.or so they think.but i don't want to get on his bad side anymore than i already have.'i told her."hey it's Nicky right?"Scott asked.i nodded my head in a yes not knowing if i should answer with my words."well that was tight what you did to Tiffany."he said."wait shouldn't you be mad at me for punching your girlfriend in the face and giving her a black eye?"i asked confused.he shook head in a no"nah.i've wanted to break up with her for a while,because i never really liked her it was just for the crowd.i now know she's ten times as evil as me.and that is saying something."he said then got up and left to go sit with his friends."ok that was majorly weird."said Jennifer with a confused look on her face that matched mine.then out of no where carter and James burst out laughing.as they were laughing the people next to us looked at us like we were idiots which caused me and Jennifer to start laughing.while we were laughing carter was laughing so much that he fell out of the booth and on to the floor.thats when the manager came and asked us to leave."well that was fun.we got kicked out of cici's for laughing like the crazy people we are."carter said still trying to get over our laughing fest."hey wanna go get kicked out of walmart."he asked excited"no i just wanna go home and sit on my butt.but youcan try to get my dad to kick you out of my house thats always fun."i said mocking his excitement,earning a glare.we got into the car and headed to my house.

JAMES' POV.
as we turned down her street a sent i didn't recognize was in the air.i sniffed and turned my head to Nicky to see if she could smell it too. she looked at me and shook her head no,which was enough for me."what do you think,rouge?"i assume was gin."i don't know.i don't know this sent."i told her getting worried.we pulled up to her house and she quickly jumped out of the car.i didn't like what i saw.the windows where shattered.the door was off its hinges and in the front yard.she ran inside with me carter and Jennifer fallowing.i didn't what i saw in here either.all the furniture was torn as were the curtains.there was broken glass on the floor and the pictures on the wall were on the floor.i went over to Nicky and rapped my arms around her she started to cry.Jennifer walked over to the wall where a note had been stabbed to it.her eyes filled with horror as she handed to note Nicky.i read it over her shoulder;

WE'RE COMING FOR YOU NEXT

she gave a horror filled squeak and turned to me as i hugged her even tighter.and i thought to my self.
