         CHAPTER 4         great MORE secrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          "WHY HAVEN'T YOU EVER TOLD ME WHAT WE WERE?!AND THAT YOU ARE THE LEADERS OF A PACK!"i yelled standing up.i looked over at James and look on his face was kinda a mix of shock and fear."believe me,when i tell you that,we wanted to tell you.but we wanted a different life for you."said mom trying to grab my head as i quickly pulled in away."BUT I STILL HAD I RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT I AM!!I'M A WEREWOLF FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!AND YOU KEPT THAT FROM ME,THE OTHER HALF OF ME,MY WOLF!!"I yelled pacing now.i pulled my hand through my hair and sighed."sweety we'll tell you both everything.Karen you have a right to know,like you said.James also has a right to know because he's your mate.your other half."said mom.(A/N:this is still Nicky's pov by the way.)i sat down and tried to calm myself.James put his hand on mine and i instantly calmed down.i looked over at him and smiled.my feeling about his were going haywire on one hand i wanted to strangle him for not telling me he was a werewolf,because we had always told each other everything.but on the other hand,i wanted hug him and never let him go knowing he was there for me.

        after what seemed like a minute.mom and dad both cleared their throats.i snapped out of the trance i realised James had put me under and hid behind my hair to hide the blush i could feel forming on my face.mom giggled and dad shot James a death glare."ok lets begin before dads glare becomes more than just a glare."i said turning to my mom."ok first lets start with the story we were told how werewolves came to be."said dad"long ago when gods still lived in the stars there was a wolf god named Ookami.he was a trickster and trouble maker one day,one of his tricks when too far and was banished to earth and was cursed.his curse was that he could turn in to a wolf every full moon without his control.but if he ever told anyone he would be feared and people fled and begged for peace.as they thought that he would harm them.this became a problem for Ookami because he became lonely and bitter.the gods saw this and decided he had learned his lesson and gave him some slack.he was able to control his curse and use it as he pleased.but even so he was still feared be people and was still lonely.so the gods did him one last favor.can you guess what that favor was Nicky?"dad asked i thought about it for a minute then it hit me."they gave him love.a mate."i said looking at my dad."yes and their child was the gin Ookami princess."

        "ok now that you know how we came to be its time we tell you why we hid it from you."said mom looking as if she was going to cry.i gave her a hug and a small smile.she smiled back and began."your father and i where very excited to know that we were gonna have a baby.you.but it also frightened us,because there have been rouges all over the border line of our pack.they have tried to challenge your father so they could take the pack but none came close except one,Aaron.when he lost he was furious and vowed to come back and kill the entire family.scared that he would do just that we fled.we hid for many years after you were born.around your 5th birthday we decided to come out of hiding and live again,but we didn't go back to the pack still in fear of losing you.and we had thought that your first shift would be coming soon.but after you turned nine we thought you would never shift until your father remembered hearing about the gin Ookami princess,that she was a late shifter and could only find her mate in another werewolf.so we kind of had our suspicions about it.seeing as your father and i are both werewolves it was only natural that you were one too."said mom cleaning her now dry tears.

           JAMES' POV

        ok now it was starting to make sense.i always knew her parents were werewolves.and it struck me as weird that Nicky hadn't shifted.her mother continued to talk"we never in tended to upset you.we knew you would shift.we planed on telling you when you got back from school yesterday.but when James left us a thousand messages about your wolf we knew it was too late for that."a small sad smile was found on Mrs.Jones face as she looked at nicky.just then there was knock at the door.Mr.Jones got up and went to the door.jennifer and carter were standing at the door as Mr.Jones invited them in."hey kids i was just telling karen about us."said mom.us what did she mean by us."umm thats good cause nicky,carter and i have something to tell you.we are werewolves too."jennifer said looking at her feet.she was trying her best to keep her cool but it didn't work.she exploded right then and there."WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU GUYS ARE WEREWOLVES AND NEVER TOLD ME!!I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!I THOUGHT WE TOLD EACH OTHER EVERYTHING!"she screamed at the topof her lungs."we are and we do.but it isn't our secret to share half the people in town are werewolves."right then i could tell that she was going to blow.but instead she walked outside shifted and ran off into the woods.

it shocked me how fast she shifted,i had no doubt that it had hurt.but she didn't seem to care.jennifer went to fallow her but i held her back."let her go she needs to run off some steam."i said calmly.just before i wnet inside i took one quick look at the woods and turned to the door and headed inside
