CHAPTER 9
NICKY'S POV
oh god,my parents are gone and it's all my fault.
' don't talk like that,who ever this is wants me.not you.you just got caught in the middle of it all and i'm sorry.'gin said sounding very upset.
'well we can't just sit here knowing my parents were taken we have to find them.'i told her.
'nicky,you don't know what your getting yourself into.this person is trying to get us if we come to him he could kill you and your parents.'she told me whimpering.
James rapped his arms around me and told me everything would be ok.he took out his cell phone and hit talk."Mia,put dad on the phone......Mia this is no time for games put dad on the phone now!"there was a pause then i heard his dad,"Dad,we need our men out in the wood now.Nicky's parents were taken...............they were looking for Nicky."he said then hung up the phone."Jennifer i need you to take Nicky to your house and keep her there.i'll be back when we find her parents."he ordered."you must be crazy if you think i'm gonna sit here while my parents for in trouble.heck no i'm coming like it or not."i told him.he was about to protest when gin took control."James,she is not gonna back down from this til her parents are safe.i'll be in control the whole time if that makes you feel any better."she told him.then i butted in.
'their my parents i want to be the one to get them back.'i told her getting upset.
"she says that they are her parents and she wants to be the one to get them back."she told James."Nicky its too dangerous.i couldn't live with myself if i let something bad happen to you.you mean way to much to me.i can't let you risk your life."he told me sounding like he was gonna cry.gin gave me back control and i walked over to James.i took his face in my hands"nothing bad is gonna happen to me as long as i have gin when i need her,your not gonna lose me and i'm not gonna lose you."i said as i kissed him,he kissed back but it was only for a minute then i broke the kiss."now we have to find my parents.i'm coming if you like it or not,James."i told him.he sighed then went outside and shifted.soon after him i shifted then Jennifer then carter.
after about a mile run we came to a clearing,waiting there for us were a bunch of wolves.if i didn't know they were on our side i would have been scared out of my mind.James walked to the middle of the clearing where another wolf stood which i think is his father Luke.after thinking it threw they returned to the outer edges of the clearing and the pack broke off in groups of three.except me,James,Jennifer and carter we stayed together.to tell you the truth i was terrified.what if they killed my parents?or what if they kill James or Jennifer or carter?i could never live with myself if one of them got hurt because of me.but i swallowed my fear and kept running.
JAMES' POV
i could see the fear in Nicky's eyes.but i could tell that no matter what i said she wouldn't turn back now.we kept running for about an hour in the direction of their sent when it started to get stronger.we picked up speed and soon we found a clearing.it made me feel uneasy.just then a bunch of wolves came out of the other side of the clearing.my wolf Falcon let out a fierce growl and got into strike position as did the rest of the pack.we looked over to the other side and saw a large grey wolf in the middle of the clearing.Nicky growled when she saw that her parents were being held by three wolves in the trees.just then the one in the clearing let out a growl and his wolves ran at us and we did the same.
(A/N:i would have a video on the fight but i couldn't find one that i liked.if you find one you like send it to me and i'll check it out.but sorry i don't have one.if you like twilight it went kinda like Jacob and Paul but more damage was done.)
NICKY'S POV
i had a wolf by the neck and bit down causing him to go limp.i let him go and saw the leader.he was gonna pay for taking my parents.before i got to him.a wolf tackled me to the ground breaking a few ribs.i let out a whimper and shifted.i wanted to stay wolf but when i'm hurt i don't have a choice.i grabbed my ribs and tried to get up but was forced down by a human foot.i let out a scream a the pressure of the foot got harder."this is just how a imagined beating you,gin Ookami."said the man the foot belonged to.i let out a growl to show i wasn't afraid.he laughed and pressed his foot harder on my chest.i winced and tried not to show that i was in pain."why are you doing this we never did anything to you?"i asked trying to breath.he just laughed and pressed."your parents disgraced all that i stood for when your father beat me in our fight.he was the only one that ever beat me.i vowed to get my revenge on them if it was the last thing i do.and what better way to do that than kill their daughter and the gin Ookami all in one?i wanted revenge and revenge is a dish best served cold."i looked at him like he was crazy and then thought for a moment."your Aaron."i said.he smiled and pressed his foot harder chest.i was about out of air and about to faint when a wolf i didn't recognize jumped on him and began to fight with him.both the wolves fought.i watched until i was being picked up.i looked to see that i was James.i let out a sigh of relief,i saw that my parents where with James' parents.i got a little worried when i didn't see Jennifer or carter.but relaxed when i found them cuddling under a tree.'wait what?!?where did that come from and how long?'i asked myself.i looked back to find that the wolf that saved me was gone and Aaron was dead."where did that wolf go?i want to thank him."i asked looking at James."what wolf?thank who?"he asked confused.'what?did no one else see him or was it all a dream and hes not real.'i looked over into the woods and saw a wolf in the bushes staring at me.i gave him a smile and mouthed a 'thank you'to him.he bowed his head and ran off into the woods.who was that?
UNKNOWN POV
good she knows i'm here.i saved her from Aaron.that wolf was a pain in a furry butt.i'm glad i got to kill him.but i'm also glad that Nicky is safe.i hope that i will be able to come back into her life without scaring her to death.she needs to know i'm still alive.buts just not the right time to do so.but soon.
