Forgotten Memories

Da Day

"There's food in the refrigerator, if you don't want to eat that then there's money left on the table for you. If you have any problems the Zhangs are next door. Please be careful for the next two days, okay?" My mother asked while getting her bag and keys. I nodded my head while smiling. My mother then walked outside, where my father was. She threw her bag into the trunk then got into the car.

"I'll text you when we land." My father said while starting the car.

"Better yet, call me." I said. Both of them nodded their heads. "Have a safe trip!" I shouted while waving goodbye as they pulled out of the driveway.

Once they were out of my sight, I walked back into the house and locked it on my way in. What am I supposed to do now? I looked around my house. Should I clean up a little? I looked around my house again. I should. I stood up and got a plastic bag. After a couple hours, or what felt like a couple hours, I finally finished cleaning my whole house. I sighed then sat down on my bed. I looked at my clock again. It's only been five minutes. Why does time go by so slowly? I sighed again then laid down on my bed. Maybe, I can waste some time by taking a nap. I kept on rolling around, I couldn't sleep at all. I finally sat up after a couple minutes of me twisting and turning in my bed. Maybe, a drama will help. I got my laptop and went on the website that I usually go on to watch dramas. Cinderella and Four Knights or Moon Lovers? I picked a random drama and continue to watch it from where I left off. I was in the middle of watching Moon Lovers when I heard my phone ringing. I paused the video and checked the caller ID.

I smiled then hit the answer button. "Hello?" I answered.

"Hi, EunA, can I ask you a question?" Yoonoh asked.

"Yeah, sure, go ahead." I said while smiling.

"Can you open the door?" He asked. Open the door?

"Open the door to my house?" I asked. I heard Yoonoh humming on the other line. Okay? I got out of bed and walked over to the door. Without looking through the peephole, I opened the door to find Yoonoh standing there while smiling. "Yoonoh!" I shouted while smiling. Without thinking, I hugged him immediately. Yoonoh smiled then hugged me back.

"I missed you." He said.

"I missed you too." I said then buried my face into his chest."I thought you said that you were coming tomorrow." I said then looked up at him while still hugging him.

"Oh, I might have lied." Yoonoh said while giggling a little. "I wanted to surprise you." He said.

"Mission accomplish." I said then tapped the top of his nose. Yoonoh's smile widened. I released Yoonoh after a couple minutes of us hugging. "Come in." I said then opened the door wider. Yoonoh took off his shoes and switches to the slippers that I got last week, just for him.

"Where do I put my luggage?" Yoonoh asked.

"Just leave it in my room, second door on the left." I said. Yoonoh nodded his head then made his way into my room. After a couple seconds later, Yoonoh came back out.

"Where am I going to be sleeping tonight?" Yoonoh asked.

"My room." I said while getting Yoonoh something to drink.

"Are we going to be sleeping in the same bed?" Yoonoh asked. I looked up at him and nodded my head.

"I'm not going to let you sleep on the floor and you can't sleep on the couch cause you're too tall. I can't sleep on the couch cause I know that I will fall off in the middle of the night and I know that you won't let me sleep on the floor. My parents won't let anyone in their room when they're gone, so we're going to be sharing the same room for the next three days." I said then sat down on the couch. Yoonoh then followed.
