One Long Week

Days have passed by very slowly. I told my friends, by friends, I mean the people that were only my friend because they wanted to get closer to Yoonoh, that I'm moving back to China. When I told them that I'm going back, their reactions were a little dull. I seemed like they didn't even care at all. Ever since Yoonoh left, they all have been cold to me. Yeah, they were that type of "friends." Since I also don't give a fuck about them, I ignored them for the remaining days that I had there. Today's my last day in America and I was so excited about flying back to China. Since today's my last day, I decided to go to the spot that I went to on my first day here. Which is where I also met Yoonoh. I sat down on one of the rocks and looked at the ocean in front of me. I closed my eyes then took in a deep breath. I let it out then opened my eyes again. I feel so empty when he's not here. I took out my phone and took a picture of myself on the rock. I sent the picture to Yoonoh.

I'm so lonely here without you.

I turned off my phone and placed it back into my pocket. Maybe....I should... I thought to myself then looked at the ocean. I took off my shoes and socks. I stuffed my socks into my shoes and got off of the rock. I walked into the water. I stood there for a couple seconds so that I could get used to the temperature. The water was cold but that's what I liked about it. I placed my shoes down in the sand so I could roll up my pant legs. After I finished, I picked my shoes back up and started to walk down the shore. While I was walking down the shore, I was looking at the view in front of me. I heard my phone ringing, so I took it out of my pocket and looked at the ID.

Yoonoh<3

I smiled then hit the answer button. Once I saw his angelic face on my screen, my smile widened automatically. He smiled then waved hello.

"Are you at the beach alone?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Why are you along? Go hang out with our friends." He said.

"You know, I don't like them." I said.

"You've told me that so many times. Did you even at least give them a chance?" He asked.

"Nope, and I'm not planning on either." I said. Yoonoh chuckled.

"You're flying back to China tomorrow, right?" Yoonoh asked. I nodded my head while smiling.

"Why?" I asked.

"I may or may not have booked a flight to China." Yoonoh said while smiling.

"Really?" I asked. His smile widened and nodded his head.

"When are you going?" I asked.

"I'm flying to China on Friday and leaving on Sunday." Yoonoh said while looking at some papers. "Yeah, I'm flying on Friday and leaving on Sunday." He said.

"Wait, what about school adn training?" I asked.

"I'll be on break." He said. I hummed in response and nodded my head. I was about to say something but someone interrupted me.

"Come on, Yoonoh, we have to go practice!" I heard someone shouting.

"Oh, I'll be out there in a couple seconds!" Yoonoh shouted then looked back at me. "I'll call you later, okay?" He asked I smiled then nodded my head.

"Bye." I said.

"Bye." He said then ended the call.

I sighed then turned off my phone. When will I ever get the courage to tell you how I feel? I took in a deep breath and let it out. Now, I have to wait at least three more days to see him in person. I thought to myself as I continued to walk down the shore. While I was walking down the shore, I heard my phone ringing again. I looked at the caller ID and pressed the answer button.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, EunA?" My mother asked.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Are you on your way back home?" She asked.

"No, I'm at the beach." I said.

"Oh, are you with your friends?" She asked.

"No, I'm alone. Why?" I asked.

"Nothing, I was just wondering." She said. I hummed in response and waited for her to continue.

"Is there anything else you want to tell or ask me?" I asked.

"Be home by five." She said. I hummed in response. "I'll see you later then." She said.

"Bye, mom." I said.

"Bye." She said then ended the call.

I looked down at my legs. I forgot that I don't have a towel with me. Great, just great! I walked onto the sand and sat down. I wiped the sand off of my feet and put my shoes back on. After putting on my shoes, I walked to the nearest cafe. I got some cheesecake and coffee. I know that it's four something in the afternoon and drinking coffee will keep me up all night. I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight, so why not? After paying for the cheesecake and coffee, I made my way back to the beach. I sat back down on the rock that I was on before. I sighed then looked at my phone. It's only four forty? Why can't time go by faster? I thought to myself as I took a sip of my coffee. I placed the bag of cheesecake into my backpack and continued to stare at the ocean in front of me. All of a sudden I heard my phone ringing again. I took out my phone and looked at the caller ID. I got confused once I saw Yoonoh's name on the screen. I hit the answer button and placed the cup of coffee down on the rock.

"I thought you had to go to practice." I said once I saw his face on the screen.

"Seclude mix up." Yoonoh said while smiling.

"Where are you now?" I asked.

"I'm at the dorm." He said.

"Are you alone at the dorm?" I asked. He nodded his head while still smiling. "Show me around your room or dorm?" I asked while smiling.

"Sure." He said then stood up. He flipped his camera, now I could see his desk in front of me.

"Is that a picture of us on your desk?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said while moving the picture, so it was directly under the camera.

"When did you even take that picture?" I asked.

"I took it when we decided to make some cupcakes while you were over at my house." He said. I thought about the times that I was at his house. Then I remembered the time when we made cupcakes.

"Oh, yeah." I said while smiling slightly. "We made a huge mess." I said.

"I'm still surprised that we cleaned up everything before my parents got back home." Yoonoh said. I looked at the clock that I had on my phone.

"I'll call you later, okay? I have to run back home before my mom gets mad at me." I said. Yoonoh hummed in response. "Bye bye." I said then ended the called. I slung my backpack over my shoulder then placed my phone back into my pocket. I then tried my best to run back home quickly.
