Bonding Date...?

Today was the day that I'm going to be spending my entire day with Sicheng, alone. I was honestly a little excited but also scared for today. Since I didn't know where we were going, it scares me a little. I was excited that I get to spend time with my childhood best friend. Sicheng said that he would be over at my house around eleven, I decided to get ready and do a little bit of cleaning.

Just as I finished tidying up my house, I got a text from Sicheng saying that he was on his way. I quickly threw on a shirt and some ripped jeans before putting on both of my earrings. As I was about to put on my chokers, I heard the doorbell ringing. Oh, no! It's Sicheng! I immediately placed my chokers down and ran over to the door. I looked through the peephole to confirm it's Sicheng before opening the door for him. "Hi, Sicheng." I greeted with a smile.

"Well, you look beautiful." Sicheng responded with a smile. I couldn't help but blush at his compliment.

"Thank you." I responded before inviting him in. "So, where are we going to do today?" I asked while taking a seat on the couch.

Sicheng soon followed after taking off his shoes. "I bought two tickets to the movies, it starts around five. Until then, we can do anything you want." He responded. I nodded my head before looking out the window.

"The weather's really nice outside, today. Do you wanna go out and walk around?" I suggested with a slight smile. Sicheng thought about it for a couple seconds before nodding his head with one of the brightest smiles I've ever seen. "Great, just let me go get some stuff." I said while jogging into my room. I quickly put on my chokers and grabbed both my wallet and keys.

The both of us made our way into the elevator in silence but still smiling. While we were waiting for the elevator to stop at the ground floor, we remained silent. At the corner of my eye, I could see him slowly getting closer and closer to me.

Cute. I thought to myself before smiling to myself slightly. Suddenly, I felt his hand intertwining with mine. I immediately looked up at him in shock. "W-what?" I asked quietly with my eyes wide opened.

"Just in case if I lose you." He responded with a smile. I nodded my head before looking straight up at the numbers again, with a smile still lingering on my face. As we walked around the streets, talking about random things we saw, I could hear little whispers about us.

I don't know if I should be happy that they think we're cute or disappointed for feeling happy. Xiatian likes Sicheng, I shouldn't be like this. I thought to myself as a frown slowly started to show. I slowly pulled my hand away from his. "What's wrong?" He asked while looking over at me, confused by my action.

"Nothing." I said while shaking my head slowly.

"Are you sure? You were happy a couple seconds ago." Sicheng pointed out, which only disappointed even more. Was I that obvious? I asked myself.

"I'm fine, nothing happened." I reassured him with a blank expression. Sicheng stared at me for a couple more seconds before continuing to walk. We walked side by side, not saying a single word. Suddenly Sicheng stopped in front of a cafe.

"I want to get a drink, do you want one too?" He asked. I nodded my head slowly before walking into the cafe with Sicheng. I sat down at the counter table while Sicheng went to order our drinks. Should I just forget everything and have fun for today? Or should I just push him away for Xiatian? I asked myself as I looked up at the sky, through the window.

"There's your drink." Sicheng said while taking a seat next to me. "Thank you." I said quietly as I took a sip of the drink. Once in awhile, Sicheng would look up at me before looking back outside. "Why does she keep doing that?" Sicheng asked himself quietly.

Seeing how upset he was, made me even more disappointed. Great, I've upset Sicheng. I grabbed my drink and Sicheng's hand. "Let's go walk around some more." I suggested with a smile. He hesitated a little bit due to confusion but accepted my offer nonetheless. The both of us walked around the streets while swinging our hands back and forth slightly.

"Woah, I haven't been in that in so many years." I said while looking over at the arcade that I used to go to with Sicheng.

"Do you want to go inside?" Sicheng asked with a smile. I nodded my head rapidly.

"Yes, let's go!" I beamed. Sicheng and I both ran into the arcade and over to our favorite childhood game.

"Look, our old high score is still number one!" Sicheng beamed while pointing at the score with our initials.

"I'm so surprised that our high score is still there after all these years." I said with a smile, as the memories started to come back.

"You want to try and beat it?" Sicheng asked with a mischievous smile. Sicheng went over to his side while I stayed on mine. While we were playing our game, we would shout out random words, getting the attention of those walking by.

"Wow, we actually beat our old high score!" I beamed while hugging Sicheng. We continued to play around the arcade together. We were in the middle of playing one of our childhood games, Sicheng suddenly stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked while looking up at him.

Sicheng looked around for a couple seconds before taking off his black jacket. "Here, wear this." He said while holding it up for me.

"Why?" I asked, slightly confused.

"Just wear it, please." He said. I nodded my head while reaching over for his jacket. I don't get why he wants me to wear it, but it looks like he's upset about something. I thought to myself while looking around the arcade also. I don't get it, why was he so upset while looking around? I asked myself while slipping on his jacket. Sicheng moved in closer then grabbed the zipper of the jacket.

"You have to zip it up, I don't like the looks the guys are giving you." He said while zipping it up for me. The looks the guys are giving me? I asked myself before looking around one more time. They're all staring at me... I thought before looking at Sicheng's face. "There, that's better." He said as he zipped it all the way up with a smile.

"You're too cute." I said quietly. Sicheng blushed a little before turning suddenly. "What's wrong?" I asked while tilting my head slightly.

"Nothing, everything's fine." He said before looking down at his watch. "We should go to the theater, the movie's going to start in a couple minute." He said. I nodded my head then held his hand tightly. "What are you doing?" He asked while looking down at our hands.

"Just in case if I lose you." I responded with a smile.
