Already In Love

Thomas's POV

When Newt told me that he was gay I was relieved. I'm gay but I haven't told anyone. My parents are homophobic and so are some of my friends. I feel like I can tell Newt just not yet. I've had a crush on him for about a month. He's just so cute. His adorable blonde hair, his skinny body. Who wouldn't have a crush on him.

I decided to tell him over text.

"Hey Newt I have to tell you something."
"What is it? ^-^"
"You're the only person who knows but....I'm gay too and I love you."
"Really?"
"...yeah."
":3 Then would you go out with me?
"Of course!"

And that was that. We were now a thing I guess. I couldn't stop smiling that night. I couldn't stop thinking of him. He's the smartest person I know. He loves to write, read and play music. He got straight A's in school and after college he's going to University to become an author. Then there's me. I was in his class but I was the lowest, my grades were mostly B's and C's but I was good at one thing. Art the only subject where I got an A. I taught him how to draw a little and he taught me how to play drums. His room is full of music. His walls have sheet music of his favourite songs stuck on them. In one corner of his room he has a keyboard, a guitar, a drum kit and a ukulele. On the other corner is a desk with a folder. It has all of his stories in it. Stories about love, romance, action, drama, sci-if and even fanfiction. I've read them all the book is huge. My room just has things that I've drawn stuck randomly along with a bunch of posters.

The next day Newt asked me to meet up at 12. We met by a pond surrounded by trees. I was the first to arrive with my hands in my pocket. I stared aimlessly at the water, thoughts running through my mind, ranging from Newt to the Eiffel Tower. I don't even know how I started thinking about landmarks. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped slightly, waking from my trance. I turned my head and I saw Newt. I smiled and stood up, bringing him in for a hug. We held for a short while, warming ourselves up from the other's grasp.
