Newt's POV

Time skip 4 months

Thomas's parents agreed to let us have a sleepover. They still don't know about our relationship, they still think we're best friends. I arrived at his house at 5 o'clock. He answered and his smile was as beautiful as the sun peeking over the horizon in the early hours of the morning. He let me in and guided me into his room "Newt is here!" He called before closing his bedroom door. I turned around, looking at him, I brought him into me and pushed my lips to his, holding him by his hips. Our lips parted and our foreheads touched as we stared into each others eyes "I love you." He whispered "Not as much as I love you." I whispered. Someone knocked on the door. I sat down on the bed and tried to act normal. Thomas opened the door. It was his mother. She was stood outside the door with 2 cups of coffee and 2 pieces of cake "There you go." She said sweetly as Thomas took the plates off of her, smiling.
"Thank you." me and Thomas said at the same time. Thomas shut the door and put the plates on his desk. He passed me a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. His room is narrow so he sat on the desk chair while still being close to me. I dug into the cake straight away "Thank you." I said with my mouthful.
"Hungry?" He giggled. I nodded. He hadn't started his cake yet. He just stared at it.
"You okay?" I asked, concerned. He shook his head "W-what's wrong?" I asked, inching myself closer to him. I saw a tear fall from his eye and I wiped it away, "I-I feel trapped." He quivered.
"What'd you mean?" I asked, my hands on top of his.
"I can never tell my parents."
"Never tell them what? That you're gay?" We had to speak quietly so his parents wouldn't hear. Thomas nodded. I wiped away his tears again "Of course you can. They'll learn to be more understanding." I said trying to convince him.
"With mom maybe but definitely not with dad." I put my plate down and hugged him, letting him weep into my arm. I stroked his hair. I felt something under the soft layer of hair. A bump. "What's that lump?" I asked suspiciously.
"Don't worry about it for now." He said quietly.

To cheer him up I created a little game "I know what might cheer you up." I smiled "let's list what we love about each other. I love your face." Thomas laughed slightly.
"I love your accent."
"I love your eyes."
"I love your face."
"I love your personality."
"I love yours."
"I love your art."
"I love your stories."
"I love your hair."
"I love your music."
"I love everything about you." We made eye contact after I said that. He pressed his lips against mine and the door opened. We quickly released our hands and lips. Thomas's dad stood there, towering over us like a murderer to his vulnerable victim. His face was filled with rage and disgust. Thomas held his hands in front of him slightly as I froze in fear. Thomas's dad turned to me. "Get out!" He screamed, his face red, like fire, the element that describes his emotions. Uncontrollable, angry, difficult. I looked at Thomas "I'm sorry." I said, grabbing my bag and running out. As I made my way down the stairs all I could hear was Thomas screaming or shouting in a panicked tone and his dad yelling in an angry tone. I ran out of the house and stayed outside for a bit. I texted him a few times "Thomas are you okay?" "I'm so sorry I left." "I'm outside." He finally replied
"I'm okay. Don't be sorry. Please you have to leave. I'll try my best to see you again. I love you." I didn't know what to say so I just replied with "I love you."
