Carol's House~

Even though she was upset with everyone at that point, Carol appreciate the fact that Drake had stayed to comfort her, unlike Nicki or Jelani. Micaiah was gone to a friends house, so she didn't have her youngest son. She liked how responsible Drake was.

"It's okay, Aubrey." She sniffled one last time

"I'm sorry about that. If i cause an inconvenience I can leave if you want." Drake looked at her

"No, no, no... Jelani is just overprotective of Nicki. This isn't the first time it happened, it's not you, and besides, I like you so what Jelani thinks doesn't matter. Her younger brother Micaiah loves your music and would be delighted to see you again." She smiled

"Oh, okay we can do that today."

"Yeah, he'll be back around 2."

"Alright."

"So how's your and Nicki's relationship."

"Honestly, I believe it's on the right track. Nicki is a very beautiful young lady, you can tell she has dealed with past heartbreaks. That's why I wasn't very angry at Jelani for being so overprotective- He thinks i'm like everyone else." Drake explained "She's always been hesitant to date me. But i always let her know that I love her, and that she can tell me anything"

"Awww you're a keeper." Carol hoped that their love would last

"Yeaa." Drake smiled

Carol just spent some time getting to know Drake. She definately wanted him as a Son-In-Law. They agreed that one day he would propose to Nicki.

As time passed, Drake called her, just to check on her, and she answered, and told him to come to where she was; alone. Drake told Carol he was going to get Nika, and left.

He arrived at a lake, and had to look for a trail that Nicki had told him about. It looked very abandoned, and old. He walked down it until he saw Nicki. She looked like she had been crying forever, and she needed someone to vent to.

"Onika." He called her and she faced towards him.

As soon as she saw hus face, she couldn't be mad anymore, she walked up to him slowly, and buried her head in his arms.

"You okay, baby?" He rubbed her back.

"No." She said into his chest

"Lets talk.." He let go of her and grabbed her hand.

"Ok...well first, Jelani only approves of guys for me to date if he knows them well. I don't want him to try and ruin us like he always does. And he was just telling me all these things about how you're just like the rest and I try not to believe him but it's hard." She looked down

Drake wiped her tears

"Don't believe him. That's all I can tell you. You're the one who decides who you date. Not him."

"He knows I love him. It's sad that he acts like this whenever i'm in a relationship. He tries to force me to break up with them, and if I do, it just seems to help him, but i'm never mad at him for it. This time is different. I'm not going to lose you, baby." Nicki said and gently kissed him.

"Alright, I have a better suprise for you around 2, though." He knew that Nicki really missed her little brother, and he was different from Jelani.

"Until then?" She managed to smile

"Uh... Ice skating?" Drake asked

Nicki gasped

"Yea!" She wanted to go ice skating for a while.
