(Your POV)
The next day me and Yu woke up early as usual
"Good morning" I said yawning
"Good morning!" Yu said cheerfully
"You seem in a happy mood" I said
"Of course! Valerie is coming back! It's independence for this guy!" He cheered
"Wanna go and have breakfast?" I asked
"Sure!" He said "After that let's get a move on to next place"
"Let's take a detour, I need to see some places" I said "Waterfalls, woods, river"
"Sure!" He said
As we talked, I saw Shauna walking out of the room she was in
"Good morning" I said
"Good morning!" She said
"You're up early!" I said
"Yea! I need to leave early today. sad I couldn't say goodbye to Serena, so do it in my place!" She said
"Have breakfast with us" I said
"Yea! These pancakes are delicious" Yu said
"I will help myself to a few then" Shauna said
We 3 had breakfast, after which Shauna left
"Bye!" We waved
"Bye!" She said
Minutes after she left, I heard a yawn behind me
"Good morning" Ash said
"Good morning" Yu said
"Man, I am HUNGRY!" Ash said
"You just woke up. What did you dream that made you so hungry?" Yu asked
"I dreamt about winning the League!" He said
"And that made you hungry?" Yu said
"Yup!" Ash said
"Seriously?" I said
"I-I mean, I like eating when I am excited" He said
"You also eat when you're sad" Yu said rolling his eyes
"W-whatever!" Ash said kinda embarrassed which was cute
I giggled
He seemed to have gotten more red so I stop giggling
"Yu! Let's have a rematch after breakfast!" Ash said
"Nope! Valerie is coming back today, wait for her" He said
"Oh man" Ash sighed
"Hey! you have better chance of beating her" Yu commented
"Let's go to Anistar City after we heal our Pokemon" I said
"Good" You said
(Serena's POV)
I must find some way to know if Ash loves Y/n or not. Oof! Who am I kidding! He OF COURSE likes Y/n...I think. Wait does he really? Am I getting worked up over nothing? The way he stares at her, talks to her...and sometimes blushed, it does makes sense
Maybe I am over reacting. I mean, I was pretty stoked up on that false attraction incident. But...was it false. Or did it actually just made Ash more bold about his feelings?
(Yu's POV)
"Good bye people!" Me and Y/n waved
"Bye!" They waved back
"So you REALLY are not planning to tell Ash?" I asked
"Nope" She said "No point in hurting him"
"I wonder" I said
"What?" She asked
"Nothing, don't worry your 'pretty' little head about it" I said
"Same as Serena?" She asked giggling
"Nope! For you it's pretty and little" I said
I wonder if you're hurting yourself more than you could hurt Ash, by not telling him
As your best friend, your happiness is most important to me, yet even I can't help you with this can I?
Y/n suddenly started poking my cheeks
"You think too much" She said
"How did you know what I was thinking?" I asked
"You're my Yu-chan!" She said "I have known you long enough. I know what you're thinking"
"Yes you do" I said
"You don't mind blushing" She said "Your cheeks are red"
"Of course not!" I said "I am open with my feelings"
"Another thing I wish I could be" She said "Thank you for caring, but I may tell him. If I need too"
"That's all I hope for" I said "Wanna have a battle?"
"Sure! But no using Attract. I can't handle another boy over me" Y/n said
"Oh~ so you handled Ash well?" I asked smirking
"N-nothing like that?" She said, clearly embarrassed
It's fun teasing her. I feel like we are 5 year old back again. I wish it could be. I would then get more years to spend
A/N - As the part of revamp, I am mellowing down Yu v. Bonnie and Serena a bit and making Y/n and Ash more aware of their feelings as well. I mean, after the Attract incident, it doesn't make sense for them to be oblivious too much
