23. Bonnie's Day Out

"So what should we do now?"  I asked 

"I have to go back to the gym" Yu sighed "It's too much work"

"Can I come and challenge again?" Ash asked

"No!" He said "Just challenge Valarie when she comes back"

"Besides having a Trainer aiming league himself as a Gym Leader won't look good. So it's best he sorts out things quickly" I said eating my ice cream

"How about Y/n, me and bro go out?" Bonnie suggested "I have been wanting to go this accessory shop. Then we can go and visit the woods. I have heard many interesting Pokemon live there"

"Cool!" Ash said "I wanna come too!"

"No you can't go!" Bonnie said instantly as we all stared her "I mean....Serena said she needs your help with something"

"Uh...yea!" Serena said "I need an audience to see how well I do on my next Showcase. Your inputs can help!" 

I then noticed something on Serena I didn't before

"Say, Serena, that Ribbon you are using as a bow....? I have seen it somewhere" I said

"Oh this!" She said in a rather exciting tone "Ash gave it to me. As a thanks for helping him"

She was....blushing? Why?

"Yea!" Ash said "I offered this to you remember? But you said I can give it to one of my Pokemon. Well, once I got them those berries, I didn't know what to do with it, so I thought I can give it to Serena. It would look nice on her" 

I feel weird now...I don't know why. But it was just seconds long feeling

"Good to know! That suits you!" I said

I kinda wanna wear that blue ribbon too know. But I don't want to at the same time. If I really wanted I would have accepted it that day

Am I jealous? I don't think so. If I really liked Ash, I would have been happy when he 'loved' me that day when he got hit by Meowstic's attract. So why am I feeling...weird? Ugh, I hate this

"So shall we go?" Bonnie asked "Serena why don't you and Ash go train for your Showcase outside?"

"Sure!" She said "Shall we go Ash?"

"Sure!" He said 

"Maybe I can help too!" A voice said from behind

We turned to see Shauna

"Hey! Shauna!" Serena said hugging her "Surprised to see you here!"

"I came to attend the Fashion show! There was a huge crowd, so I guess I missed you guys" She said

"Hey!" I said waving

"Hi Y/n! Haven't seen you since that Pokemon Camp!" She said "Is Yu still with you?" 

"Yea, he is currently busy though. Substitute Gym Leader at Valaries" I said

"Well! Whatcha waiting for! We gotta train!" Shuna said and she, Serena and Ash went of

"Shall we go too?" Clemont asked

"Sure!" I said

"Yay!" Bonnie said

<Time Skip>

We have been walking around the Park for an hour after being through the Accessory shop

"Bonnie, isn't it enough walking?" Clemont asked "My feet are killing me"

"Don't worry, after another round, they will be dead to kill you" She said
