Me and Yu were in the Pokemon Center getting our Pokemon healed while Kanon was looking out the Princess Showcase News
"Hey check this out guys" She said
"What?" Yu asked
"There is going to be a ball dance in the nearby castle" She said
"Really?" I asked
"Yeah it's for all the Showcase Princesses, BUT" She said
"But what?" Yu asked, not being able to handle the suspense
"We need to bring a date" I said "To dance with"
"Not it" Yu said
"If you want Kanon, I can disguise as a prince just like the play we did" I answered "I mean, it won't be the first time I have been your prince"
She got rather flustered
"U-um, no need Y/n....I....umm" She was super embarrassed, I couldn't help giggle
"Don't worry you're pretty famous in boys so just wear a nice dress and you will be good to go" Yu said reading a book
"I can't have that. Random boy going out with Kanon" I answered
"But the same goes to you too" Yu said "Well, I have feeling we are gonna bump on Ash and his crew today, so lets ask him"
"W-what!?" I shouted. Although I don't know why
"Come on, you can fit in the role of the gender you identify as" Yu said
"Huh....true that" I said
(Serena's POV)
We arrived at the Pokemon Center and Ash took Pikachu and others to Nurse Joy while I was checking Showcase news
"Hey Bonnie" I whispered to her
"What is it?" She asked
"Look there is going to be a ball dance in a nearby place" I said to her
"And?" She asked
"We have to bring a date?" I squealed
"Cool!" She said
"I know" I said
"Go tell this everyone this" She said and I nodded. This time, I WILL ask Ash to be my date! And then we will fall in love! And then we will kiss! And then we will marry!!
Me and Bonnie walked towards others
"Hey check this out. There's a ball dance in the nearby castle for all Showcase Princesses" I said once everybody got their Pokemon healed
"Cool" Ash said
"So are you going to go?" Suddenly a voice behind us said
"Yu! (Y/n)! And...." Ash said, forgetting about the third girl's name
Huh...what was her name again?
"Umm....it's Kanon" She answered "I am from Kanto too"
"Oh! I see! Nice to meet you!" Ash said "Where do you live?"
"Cinnaber Island" She answered "It's not far away from Pallet Town technically"
"I guess that makes us town-neighbors" Ash said happily
Kanon has such a soothing personality, I like her. I have also seen her Pokemon Showcases. She is really talented. I respect her much.
"Hey, Kanon is also planning to go but she doesn't have any date" Yu said "Speaking of which, Y/n doesn't have one either"
"I never said I am gonna go" She answered
YES! THAT MEANS SHE WON'T BE WITH ASH!!!!
"Yea...but I want to go and no person left behind. So you'll find a date, and I'll act half my age, so they let me in scot-free" Yu said
"You already act half your age" Y/n said, eyeing him
"Even better" Yu said, shrugging while she rolled her eyes
"Oh" I said
"So Ash will you be her date?" Yu asked
"For Y/n? Sure" Ash answered
"I was talking about Kanon..." Yu said
Everything felt silent
"Oh! I see! Umm...Sure! I don't mind! Sorry! Kind of embarrassed" He answered, stuttering here and there
"Oh, no worries! Thank You" Kanon said, smiling kindly
"GOD YOU'RE AN ANGEL, MARRY M" Bonnie got cut off by a Clemont who was dragging her away
"BONNIE, SHUT IT!" Clemont said while we all awkwardly stared
"So, what about you Serena" Yu asked, eyeing me as if was trying to provoke me
"W-what" I said "Nothing. I was just gonna ask Clemont to be my date"
"W-wha! Me!?" Clemont said surprised
"O-oh! That's good then! To be honest, I felt rather bad that you wanted to go with Ash, you guys being Childhood friends and all, I heard. And I would have hate to come in between your plans" Kanon said
"Yea, it's so good we have no issue in forming our teams" Ash said
DAMMIT!
"Teams?" Bonnie said "Weird way to put it, but okay"
(Yu's POV)
"You look rather bitter" I said, looking at Y/n
"In your dreams" She answered, looking away
"Do I sense, a slight hint of jealousy?" I asked asked
"Better go see a doctor for your vibes" She said
"Touche" I said
