Chapter 12

Sophia's POV
After school on Friday  I went over to Loren's house. We were up in her room on our phones . All over snapchat people were talking about some huge bonfire.

"Soph, we have to go to the bonfire. Everyone's going and talking about it." Loren pleaded. Every time  I would go out something bad would happen.

"I just don't know about this bonfire." I answered shakily. I could just think of what happened at the last party I was at.

"Pleaseeeee, Jack is going and I have to see him!" Loren begged. Loren was basically inlove with this guy when she saw him at the party. He was in my grade and also in a few of my classes.

"Fine!" I answered almost regretting it. She clapped her hands smiling. I rolled my eyes and she started to get ready. I changed into a crop top and high waisted shorts. Loren was wearing a cropped sweater and high waisted jeans.  I reapplied my make up and added a little more.

The bonfire was filled with people. Arizona has many open desserts that people went to host parties and stuff. I just learned about it recently so the whole thing to me was weird.

There we're sophomores, freshman and a lot of 8th graders. I saw Luna trying to flirt with some highschool guys and as soon as she saw me her face went pale. I laughed a bit and went over with Loren.

"I'm going to find Jack!" She cheered looking around for him. I went to go see if Brandon was here and he was but Kathy was right by him. I still went over there smiling.

"Hey Brandon." I said casually. We started to talk a little but  just as friends. Even in the smallest convo I had with him I could feel my face heat up and my heart start racing. Kathy was just looking at us the whole time.

"Brandon, I'm going to grab a drink. Can you come with me?" Kathy giggles twirling her hair. I wanted to gag. They both left and I decided to sit by the fire and roast marshmallows. Loren came over with Jack.

"Hey." Jack said and I silent what upped him. All of us talked, laughed and made s'mores.

"Did you really just slap him across the face?"Jack said chocking laughing. We were talking about the last party.

"Yeah he totally deserved it." I answered laughing even more. Loren was dying and Jack was looking at her like she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I started to think about Brandon.

"I'm going over to get a soda." I said leaving Loren and Jack alone I winked at Loren as I walked out and she laughed. I went over to grab a soda from so cooler someone had out there.

"Brandon, I really like you." I heard someone giggle and I could tell it was Kathy.

"I don't know it's just that-" I heard Brandon's annoyed voice and it was cut off by Kathy kissing him. I rolled my eyes upset but then tears came out. I quickly wiped them away because my makeup took to long to ruin it for some hoe.

I walked over to some people dancing and they wear clearly older but I kept dancing with them. I could see Brandon starting at me but I didn't care. The music kept blasting and I kept dancing.    I decided to make him jealous and kissed some random guy who was obviously a freshman. He looked like someone from Hunters football team.

"Sophie!" I heard Loren yell and I knew I messed up a little but. I turned around and Loren looked beyond mad. 

Brandon saw it with his fist in a ball. He finally got the message.

(A/N: okay I'm pre- writing this at 1 in the morning and I have a test tomorrow plus I'm waking up at 5 in the morning. But I hope you guys like this chapter!! Ilyy❤️❤️)
