Chapter 28

Sophia's POV

Coming home was the worst. We had all jus arrived backs at my house and I was too tried to speak. Instead of sleeping on the way back we blasted music and ate more food.

"I'm.....soooo tireddd..." I yawned and crashed onto my bed. Loren decided she wanted to sleep here and then come home later. It was only 6 am so her parents weren't even  awake yet.

"Night Soph." She said. I was too tried to speak and just passed out.

When I woke up it was already 1 pm. I threw a pillow at Loren just like we used to at the beach house.

"I'm up!" She said putting her hands up in defense. "What time is it?"

"1 pm!" I answered getting out of bed.

"I have to go home! I told my mom I would be home by 12." She said and got her stuff.

"Do you need a ride?" I asked.

"Nah, I just walk. It can make me lose a couple pounds after we ate so much." She teased. I laughed and she got her stuff and left.

"There's nothing to do now." I said to myself. I ran down stairs to grab something to eat.

"Sophia  it's been so long!" My mom said. I cringed inside a little because no one has used my full name in a long time.

"Hi mom." I said hugging her. It had been a long time since we talked.

"Who else went besides Loren?" She asked.

"Hunter, Blake, Weston and Brandon." I said hoping she wouldn't get mad.

"All boys, I thought you would take luna of something." She said.

"Ew, I hate her." I said rolling my eyes.

"Sophia Rose!" She said using my middle name too.

"Sorry next time I'll bring more girls." I said leaving.

"Were are you going." She said as I was walking back up to my room.

"Uh... a run." I said. I needed to go on one anyways. I went to my room  to go change and grab my headphones. I went back downstairs and left.

I remember when I used to do running and stuff until I stopped. I started running towards the school and on from there. I was blasting music, my favorite song 'Bad reputation"by Shawn Mendes.

"She got a bad reputation, she takes the long way home." I started to hum/ sing. Then I bumped into someone.

"Oh sorry." I said looking down.

"It's okay." I heard a voice say and I knew instantly who it was.

"Zach, what are you doing here?" I asked confused and a little annoyed.

"You think your the only one who had to go on runs." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I said about to start up again.

"You don't believe me, look at my abs." He said and joking lifted up his shirt.

"No thanks." I said turning my head away before I could see more but he did  have abs. 

"I know you liked them." He teased again and I wanted to roll my eyes again.

"What is the point of this conversation because I need to go on a run again?" I snapped.

"Woah chill. What ever happened to being friends." He said.

"That idea was crushed immediately." I said again.
