Adam

A/N - These next few chapters are going to be short fillers so I can get into the storyline :)

"What're you smiling at?" James asks as he enters my room.

"It's nothing." I say.

"Mhm. So how's life being an 'adult' now?" James asks.

"My mums trying to be subtle about me starting to pay rent but as you know her 'subtle' isn't that subtle." I laugh.

"Haha. Should come live at my mums - I don't have to pay a thing." James laughs.

"Yeah but it sucks that you have to here doesn't it." I say as I playfully hit his arm.

My phone goes off. It's Reece again.

"There you go again with that grin. Honestly I don't know what to do with you haha. This work do you have at the pub, I'm going to turn up with a few mates to support you." James says.

"What Adam, Aaron, Jacob and that lot?" I say.

"Yeah what's wrong with them?" James chuckles.

"Nothing.... As long as yous don't cause any trouble." I say.

"We'll be on our best behaviour." James says.

"Pinky promise." I say as I bring my pinky up.

"Pinky promise." He laughs at interlocks his pinky with mine.

A few hours later

"I'm going to pick Adam up, we'll meet you lot there?" James asks.

"Yeah ok." My mum says.

"Are you ready?" I ask mum and dad.

"Mhm, let's go." Dad says.

I drive us to my work.

"Hey Amelia!" Adam says coming over to me.

"Hey Adam." I say as I hug him.

Once Adam let's go he slaps my ass.

No he did not just do that!

"What the fuck! Why did you just do that?" I ask.

"Woah woah Amelia, it was just a bit of fun." Adam says.

"Amelia get here now." Steve, my boss, says.

I walk quickly over to Steve.

"Could you not swear in front of the customers?" Steve asks.

"I know I shouldn't have but he did slap my." I says.

"I thought you had a thing for him." Steve asks.

"That was before uh never mind, can I just get on with working now." I ask.

Before Reece.

Steve moves out the way and I put my bag away before going to the bar.

"What was that about?" James asks.

"Adam being a dick. Thought there wasn't going to be any trouble." I say.

"Sorry, I'll make sure there isn't any more. Any way I though you liked Adam?" James says.

"Yeah when I was like 12 and before I realised there were better boys than him." I say.

Way better... Like Reece

"Woah ok. Can I have a cider?" James asks.

"That's £3.60." I say.

"Service with a smile could be good." James says sarcastically.

A/N - Adam is acting like a dick tbh. Thoughts?
