Instead of hearing a gasp of joy and feeling arms flung around me, I heard a wail and a burst of crying. Tears poured down from my sweetheart's face.

I wrapped my arms around her as tightly and as gently as I could. "Shhh... Don't cry, sweetheart." I said, hoping to comfort her.

" Now, now. You know you can tell me anything." I whispered softly into her ear.

*sob*"Plastic ruler*sob* proposed to me*sob* last week!" "And?" I said, gently prompting her. " Papa made me promise to marry plastic ruler 'cuz he's rich!" she wailed, "but I don't like him! I went out with him once after the proposal and he treated me so badly! He contaminated me!"(Now, now readers don't you go thinking Y stuff)

I felt as if I've been electrified. Contaminated?! How dare he make her lose her virginity! I grind my teeth with anger, but remained calm for the sake of my love. Wooden ruler spoke again quickly"It's not what you are thinking, but he put dirt on my face!!It is still an insult right? He's such a snooty, annoying and self-centered stationary!

He's such a son of a bitch! ( well, not literally, since he was made)

" You have to get rid of him! His personality is bad enough, not to mention his squashed face! I can't marry a toad like him!" begged wooden ruler.

" What?! You want me to kill him?! No, no. IT IS NOT NESSACARY. I will be put to death of melting if I am caught! I would never go on a suicide mission like this; NEVER SUICIDE BECAUSE OF PRIVATE REASONS!" I was horrified.

Slap. The left side was left stinging and burning(NOT literally) after woody's hand.

" I said 'get rid of him', not 'kill him', dumbhead," said wooden ruler, half fuming and half laughing.

" Then why'd you slap me?!" I said, clutching my half-swollen cheek.

"Oh... I'm so sorry... I didn't mean too! Do it, I mean. I was a bit...impulsive." She replied sheepishly.

' It's okay, now, we can finish off this plastic ruler business and get married!" metal ruler said, grinning.

" Yesss! And we can have a big, big family!" wooden ruler said gleefully.

"Umm... ok... but I'm not so sure about the family thing..." metal ruler smiled.
