After a couple of minutes, we arrived at the Christian church. I waited at the end of the church for wooden ruler to change into the white, marvellous wedding dress I chose for her and do her make-up.

The guests were already filing in the church. They signed the neat card I bought for this wedding and shook hands with me and murmured congratulations, greeting us warmly.

They took their seat as the priest came in. I beamed down at him. He smiled back heartily.

Finally, everyone was seated.Correction pen ran to my side and whispered into my ear," She's ready." I nodded to the priest. He grinned, making his eyes wrinkle.

Music started to sound; it was all so magnificent!

The priest half-shouted over the noise," Let us hereby gather to witness the marriage of metal ruler and wooden ruler. Let us now welcome the bride!"

Wooden ruler walked in slowly, hand in hand with her father, papa metal ruler. Oh. My. Gosh!!! She was stunningly beautiful! She looked delicate as a leaf but at the same time strong as steel. She was striking, charming, enchanting.( Ok, I'm finished with the adjectives, happy?) Her cheeks were red with the blush, her eyes lined with thin eyeliner. She was breath-taking!

This made me love her even more.

We faced each other. I was lost for words. How lucky I am!

( Here's the juicy part:)" Ahemmmm..." the priest started, " Metal ruler chin, do you take wooden ruler tse as your wife, through gain and loss, through sickness and hard times, through life and death and be always be there to help and support her?"

"Yes, I do."

" Wooden ruler tse, do you take metal ruler chin as your husband, through gain and loss, through sickness and hard times, through life and death and be always be there to help and support him?"

"Yes, I do."

"Then it's agreed. Metal ruler chin, you may now kiss the bride."
