❝So what do you want to talk about?❞
Those words left her mouth in a rude and disgusted tone, agitating me a bit.
Even though she was obviously annoyed by my presence, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by her beauty. It's been years since we've seen each other in person and she has only gotten more beautiful than before.
"Stop with the attitude." I responded in a serious voice, looking around at the corner we were standing at.
We were very close, our bodies were literally almost pressed together but she made sure that there was a distance between us.
She rolled her eyes, "I don't have time for you right now, Finn. Now let's get this over with or I'm leaving."
I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms as I leaned against the wall beside me, not taking my eyes off her. Her eyes left mine, only to look up and down my body to see that I was in my ring gear since I have a match in a couple of minutes.
"I jus' wanted to say congratulations on winnin' the Women's Championship." My lips curved into a smile as I spoke and I saw her lips curved into a small smile as well. "Thanks."
"Yeah, I'm really proud of you." I added, smiling completely. And then I felt my heart lighten up once she gave me that beautiful smile of hers. I've missed that so much.
It stood silent between us for a moment until I said something else, "Tha's all I needed to tell you-
"Finn....we need to talk. About.....other things, you know that." She cut me off, her smile fading away which caused me to frown. I looked away and sighed before meeting her eyes again, "Yes, I do know."
"How about we clear the air right now then?" She spoke, softly and I knew right from that question that this wasn't going to end well. "You know tha' it isn't goin' to end well if we do-
"Then what? You want our relationship to stay as awkward as it is?" She questioned, gaining the rude attitude once more as I let out a sigh. "Of course not-
"Then let's talk."
"No." I replied, sharply and she rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She tried to walk away but out of an instinct, I grabbed her arm. She tried to pull away but she couldn't due to my tight grip.
"Stop-
"No. You don't want to talk so I might as well just leave." She wasn't exactly screaming but I knew if I wouldn't let go of her, she would start. "Alrigh', alrigh', we'll talk. Just not here though." I told her in a soft, calm voice.
She stopped pulling away and looked up at me, "Then when?" She questioned with her attitude. "Later. At your or my hotel room."
"Why not here?" She asked, again showing off her attitude as I remained calm. "Because if you decide to start screamin' at me, everyone in this buildin' would show up."
She seemed slightly irritated by my offer before her eyes met mine, "Fine. We could meet at my room. But only for talking not for anything else." She threateningly pointed her finger at me, making me chuckle. "Cause' I know what you'll try to do."
"It's been two years, why would you think I would try do tha' after so long?" I asked with a smirk and she smiled. "I know what you'll try to do and I'm damn sure I won't fall for it."
I nodded and raised my hands in defense, "I won't do anythin', I promise."
"And I missed you so much."
