"How can I move forward when I don't know which way I'm facing?"

❝Wait, wait. I'm still confused.❞

"Wha'? I'm I not speakin' English?" My question had a rude tone to it, making him sigh and pinch his nose bridge. "Finn, can you not?" My head turned to gaze at the woman who was sitting beside me who had an angry look on her face.

Even with that angry look her expression provided me with, she still looked as attractive as ever.

"Wha'? He's actin' like I'm speakin' some other language--

"Still, Finn," She raised her eyebrow and gave me one of her looks which made me let out a breath.

"Anyways, Dolph, what are you having trouble understanding?" She questioned and he smiled at me, shoving the fact that she's defending him in my face.

"Well I still don't understand the point of this talk that we're having," His eyes diverted to mine, then back to hers quickly before he continued. "You guys haven't made it clear yet."

"We did but obviously you weren't listenin'." She didn't like my response since I felt her grab my hand under the table and tightly hold onto it. I glanced over at her but she still had her eyes on him.

"I mean, you guys have been beating around the bush. You haven't said the exact reason of what you're talking about."

I felt her eyes gazed at me before she let out a sigh while looking down at the table. I rolled my eyes and sucked my teeth, "Look, Dolph. We wasted enough time explainin' thin's to you," I rudely told him before feeling her tighten the grip on my hand which made me look at her.

She looked stressed about this whole thing, "Love, it's fine--

"Love? What the hell?" He furrowed his eyebrows as frustration began to become evident on his face.

Her eyes shot up to look at his blue ones as she flinched at the volume of his voice. Also, others in the catering area began to look out way.

"Why the hell is he calling you love?" He shouted at her and I started to react to his sudden change of behavior.

"You better lower your tone when you speak to her." My eyes look dead straight as his as both of us stood only inches away from each other.

"Or what?" My fists clenched tightly and my teeth gritted together as anger built up inside me. "Guys, stop." Her calm voice was almost a background noise since I was too busy paying attention to the man in front of me.

I felt her hand pull my arm back as other superstars came to push me and Dolph away from each other. We pushed quite a distance from each other but our eyes never left each other's as I left the menacing look on my face.

I didn't say anything else to him because I don't speak with words, I speak with action and I sure as hell if those superstars wouldn't have intervene, I would've punched him.

This time, he was lucky but this won't be a repeat if something like that happens again between us.

I found myself out of catering and my eyes on her, who was walking in front of me but as if she was walking away from me. "Sweetheart, wait."

I ran to catch up with her and she stood walking, not making any sort of eye contact with me, "Sweetheart--

"Sweetheart, nothing, Finn." She cut me off, stopping to look at me before continuing to walk to wherever she was going to.

I followed her down the hallway and she ended up entering her locker room where I entered as well. "I don't understand why you're so mad at me." I spoke, catching her by surprise as she turned around.

Her eyes met with mine whilst I closed the door behind me, "I'm not mad at you....I'm just annoyed," She rubbed the side of neck, stressfully and I narrowed my eyes in slight confusion.

"You're annoyed by me?" I questioned, still with my eyes narrowed. She sucked her teeth, "No, I'm annoyed at how you two acted over there."

She took a deep breath in, "I could've defended myself, Finn." She told me and I crossed my eyes, an unamused smile growing on my face. "Of course,"

Her dazzling, brown eyes looked up to stare into mine as I spoke, "There's a problem with everythin' I do. I defend you, there's a problem. If I would've let him scream at you, there's a problem. Like why is everythin' a problem with you?"

She removed her hand from her neck and bent her eyebrows in an upset way, "Because, Finn! You always start fights, just like what happened out there--

"I didn't start anythin'." I replied, cutting her off and in a much calmer voice than she had which caused her to scoff. "You were about to punch him-

"Because he disrespected you."

"But all of that didn't need to happen-

"Maybe if he didn't disrespect you, it wouldn't have." I responded, once again, cutting her off as I defended myself and she threw her arms in the air.

"You know what? I'm done with you. I'm not going to argue with you right now. Please leave me alone." She turned around and went for her bag in search of her ring gear so she could start getting ready.

A small chuckle escaped my lips as I began walking towards her. She then stood back up and turned back around to be caught off guard by how close I was to her.

"Finn, get out--

I cut her off by placing my hand on her cheek and leaning down, capturing her lips for a soft, gentle kiss.

In seconds, she responded by kissing back as our lips perfectly synced with each other. Her hands fisted the lower part of my shirt in her grasp, tightly.

The kiss was filled with gentleness and passion as I felt myself needing to catch my breath. I slowly began pulling away but she continued reconnecting her lips with mine and it only grew more intimate.

But then I finally pulled away completely, her eyes completely showed that I left her mesmerized. My lip was held captive beneath my teeth as I slowly back away.

"As you wish." I gave her a charming smile as i referred to her last statement. I continued to back up until I made it to the door which I opened soon after.

"I'll see you later." I licked my lips and sent her wink before leaving the room and closing the door. Leaving her there to only want more.

"And we, at the end, should live our forever lasting love."

took me absolute ages to update. well i sincerely apologize and the reason for this is because ive been so, so busy that i haven't had much time to update.
