Izaya's POV

I was cleaning up the kitchen when I heard whispers from the hallway. I slowly went to the source of the whispers and what I saw was Mey-rin whispering to Finny and Bard.

I went up to them"what are you three whispering about?" I asked. Mey-rin looked at me and blushed a bit"m-mister Izaya!!! u-um well, we heard a rumor of since strange things happening in the city."Mey-rin said.

"Oh? do tell," i said. Mey-rin smiled"well people keep talking about a man with sunglasses and a bartenders suit running around throwing empty cars carriages and things," she said.

I smirked and laughed"look who's here. Finny i have something i want you to do" i said,"yes izaya?" finny asked."i need you to find this man in the rumors, can you do that for me?" i asked.

Finny looked hesitant for a minute" but won't he attack me?" finny asked. I gently ruffled Finny's hair, which is odd for me as well because i usually am not a comforting man.

"I promise you he won't hurt you," i said." just be yourself and he'll be nice" i continued. Finny looked a bit surprised by my actions but then he smiled brightly"thank you izaya!! I'll make sure to bring the man here!" finny said.

I smiled,"thank you" finny ran out, he is rather fast "you two"i looked at Mey-rin and bard"prepare a room for our soon to be guest," i said. They both nodded and ran upstairs.

I smiled and looked at the front door and decided i would prepare a meal for Shizuo,"when did i become so nice?" i thought. I shrugged it off and went to the kitchen to get ready.

Shizuo's POV

I looked around at the streets" where the heck is izaya?" i thought. I looked around and saw a blond young man walking towards me with a smile on his face.

"Hello there mister!" he said. I looked around confused and looked back at him"me?" i asked. The man smiled brightly" of course I'm talking about you, who else is here?" he said.

I remembered that everyone here was afraid of me and ran away"well who are you?" i asked."I'm Finnian, but you can call me finny"finny giggled a bit and smiled.

I couldn't help but smile back a bit"aren't you afraid of me?" i asked. Finny shook his head and gestured for me to follow him"come here!!! I want to show you something"finny said.

Finny ran away and i ran over him. He was almost to fast for me to keep up. "why is this finny guy so nice? He reminds me of mikado. Hm or Anri? Maybe a mix of their personalities. Oh well, i wonder what he's going to show me" i thought.
