chapter eleven, Who was it?

but the question that took up almost all of my thoughts was one question.

who was that voice?

Izaya's POV

"I can't believe that monster Shizu-chan is my bodyguard." I thought to myself. I sighed and looked towards Shizuo, he was glaring at me like I just insulted him. I grinned "what is it Shizu-chan dear?" I teased. I smirked as Shizuo's expression became angry. "what the heck did you just say Flea?" Shizuo yelled.

I smirked once again and then laughed as Shizuo tried to hit me but I dodged it. I frowned for just a moment before I looked towards the window. I felt a strange presence and I didn't like it. "Shizuo-Chan please calm down, " I said. Shizuo looked at me then at the window I was looking at.

all of a sudden a shot rang out and I pushed Shizuo to the floor as a bullet buried itself into the flesh in my upper arm and I screamed in pain. unlike most demon, I could get hurt because I was only half demon.

Shizuo's POV

I looked down at the Flea as I felt a warm sticky liquid drip down Izaya's upper arm and dripped onto either the floor or me. Every once in a while the Flea would twitch and tremble in pain and I quickly picked him up and brought him to the bathroom.

I set the Flea on the toilet after making sure the toilet seat was down and I opened the cabinet and got out a med-kit and ran over to Izaya. I then slowly and gently took off the Flea's Jacket. "why am I being Gentle? why didn't I just leave him to die? well, I guess he did save me so I should be grateful though" I thought to myself.

I slowly got some tweezers and pulled out the bullet then cleaned Izaya's wound with alcohol wipes and then I bandaged the wound. it was a good thing I watched Shinra so many times as he dealt with wounds like this. The Flea looked pale and he lost so much blood. "Who the heck shot him?" I thought to myself.
