chapter seven, awake

Izaya's POV

I woke up and I looked around my room my eyes lingering over the clock on the wall, it was seven thirty in the morning and I sighed rubbing my eyes a bit. I got up groggily and my stomach growled. even though I was the brother of a demon I like eating human food so I made it where I would get hungry but not to the point of starvation.

I went to the bathroom and looked at my reflection in the mirror and I groaned. I looked terrible, I had bad bed-head and I had dark bags under my eyes. I also stank so I decided to take a shower.

~after the shower ~
I came out dressed in a clean butlers uniform and my hair was still wet and I decided to make myself some food and then do my laundry. After I made myself breakfast I went back to my bathroom and picked up the clothes that I had left on the floor.

I went to the laundry room and started a load of laundry and I was wondering why it was so quiet and then I heard a crash near the kitchen.

I got up after I was done loading the washer and I went to the hall near the kitchen and I sighed. There was Mey-rin sprawled across the floor with what looked like millions of shards of broken plates and I kneeled down near her head and I held my hand out.

"My lady you need to be more careful," I said. Mey-rin took my hand and there was a light red tint on her cheeks and she smiled"t-thank you"Mey-rin said. I smiled at her.

"Of course my lady,"i said. Mey-rin blushed"u-um m-mister Izaya y-you dont u-um have to c-call me that, just u-um call me Mey-rin"Mey-rin said. I smiled again

"Of course Mey-rin"i said. Mey-rin blushed again but then she remembered the situation she was in"oh Nooooo!!!! M-mister sebastian is going to be mad at me yes he is!!!!"Mey-rin said.

I smiled"don't worry Mey-rin I'll help you clean up" I said. Mey-rin smiled "thank you izaya, your a nice person yes you are"Mey-rin said.i smiled"thank you"i said.

"if she knew.... would she still think that? would any of them think like that?"i thought.
