Emma's POV*
I dropped Henry off and then went about my business. I returned to Granny's and Red/Ruby and Granny were smiling and giggling. "Emma!" They squeled and I nodded.
"Red-I mean Ruby i meam hey," I said and smiled. "I am so tired gonna hit the bed."
The next morning as I tried to sleep in there was a persistent knocking at my door. I managed to get up and throw on some shorts before answering the door. "Hell- oh its you. Hey kid! What's up?"
"It's bad!" Henry announced letting himself in.
"Well alright then!" I laughed closing the door. "That's a great way to start a morning. What's bad?"
"The curse," Henry nodded.
"Mhmm, yes, I kind of assumed because the EVIL queen cast it," I said sarcastically.
"No!" He shouted at me. "This is SERIOUS!"
I bit my lip to hold back laughter. "Okay I can be serious. Hit me with it."
"The curse is BROKEN!" Henry informed me. "As in someone besides you the Savior broke it!"
"So everyone remembers?" I asked.
"Yes," Henry shook his head. "Keep up Emma!"
"I hve to go!" I shouted. I grabbed my jacket and headed out the door. I came right back in. "I should get dressed first, finish telling me the bad part while you are at it."
Henry nodded. "Magic is coming." He announced. "Which means Regina will be full Evil."
"But she poofed away with you!" I informed him. "That was magic."
"It was a fluke because she was near you." Henry explained. "You were powerful even before."
"So..." i finished getting dressed. "How are we getting home?"
"Magic"
"Then you have definitetly lost me on why this is bad," I nodded and grabbedmy car keys. "Coming?" Henry nodded and followed me out.
I walked past where Red/Ruby and Granny were standing talking happily. "Did you guys stand here all night?" I asked arching an eyebrow.
"EMMA!" They squeled again.
"You are grown up!" Granny gasped.
"We're the same age?" Ruby said confused. "I guess that's all right."
I nodded my head. "Yeah, yeah," I said leaving. Henry followed and they smiled and waved at him.
"Well, that was awkward," I grumbled getting in to the car.
Henry stared puzzled at me. "Why?!"
"Because Red was friends with my mother," I informed him. "She was like never nice to me. Apparently a curse can give people different perspectives."
"Well you were a kid and she was older than you-"
"Its just going to be weird, because my parents, they're my age too. I guess last night that didn't really hit me like it does now."
I slammed on the breaks because across the street I saw my mother and father kissing and then mom broke away to hug the dwarves. They stood in front of Granny's diner and other fairytale people were emerging from houses and shops. I parked in the street and jumped out. "MOM!" I called across the way. "DAD!"
Snow turned her head and her face erupted in to the most amazong and comforting smile I ever saw. Charming smiled and ran towards me, I held out my arms and he picked me up and twirled me around. "Emma!" He exclaimed staring at me. "You grew up!"
I smiled and tilted my head to the side, pulling my lips in and nodded. "Yeah," I seemingly whispered. "I did."
Snow was waiting with the dwarves as I walked over with Charming. I stopped and turned around. "Henry!" I called but he was no longer in the car. "Henry?" I broke away from my father's grasp and jogged around. His backpack had spilt on the other side of the car. "You scared me! Oh my god!" I sighed in relief hugging him. "Here," I helped him finish cleaning up. "Come on," I helped him up and led him around the side of the car.
Charming raised his eyebrows at me and Snow's face dropped. The dwarves looked away. "Mom, Dad this is Henry. My son"
"Grandpa?" Henry asked looking at my father.
Charming laughed, "Yeah kid," and hugged him.
I ran over to my mother and she wrapped her arms around me. "Emma, I swear if you EVER run away like that right before something big like this I will kill you!"
"If that means I missed you so much and I love you so so so very much and thank you jesus for being safe and sound, then I feel the same way mom," I laughed.
"Yea, it does," Snow nodded tears in her eyes and hugged me again. "Where's my little girl?"
"She grew up," I knew this must be hard on her. It probably seemed like I did this to us, but in time I had faith she would come to except it. "I love you!" I whispered.
Charming came over and stole me away twirling me around in the street. "I still get to dance with you at your wedding right? Or did you already get married too?" He teased.
"Not married yet Dad," I promised.
"Good!" He winked.
