I wake up happy a few days later. I would finally be able to leave this damn house to go see my Pony. Of course he wasn't my pony yet, but he will be soon. I'll make sure of it.

I hopped out of bed, throwing on my clothes and flew downstairs.

"Damn girl, the Greaser ain't going nowhere." Jacob muttered after I slip and fall on my back.

"You're the bum who wouldn't let me leave the damn house!" I snapped while Ed helped me up to my feet. Jacob shook his head,

"And Zack, don't forget Zack."

"Well I could sneak out with Zack-" I pause at his glare,

"I mean, Zack isn't as..... scary as you are."

"Nice save, kid." He went back to his newspaper,

"Just get your bag and get out before I change my mind and stuff you back in our room."

I hauled myself out of the rundown house with my leather jacket and bag at his threat. We only had one room in our house, so I have to share with Jacob and his kid brother, Zack. Zack was a little like Pony, but Pony had this thing that drew me to him. Ed was another of my buddies, He was real funny, the scatterbrained one out of all of us.

I slow down my pace as I entered Greaser land, letting my torn backpack fall to the floor. I hoped that Ponyboy would come out while I walked by, but sadly, he didn't. But I saw that other guy that looked at me at the movie house, though. I glance at the sky, then at the dark boy,

I have time.

I dragged myself and my bag over to him. I plopped myself down next to him, scaring him half to death.

"Relax, kid, it's only me." It was that after I said it I remembered who I was,

"I mean, I'm not gonna hurt you."

He calmed down a little, but continue to eye me suspiciously,

"You're a friend of Ponyboy's, right?" He gave me a small quick nod, I grinned,

"I could make use of you then." I mutter under my breath. I look at him,

"You go to school?" He nodded again, I pulled out a pack of cigarettes from my bag. I smirked as he eyes it,

"You want one?" He looked at me with uncertainty,

"You can have one if you want, I didn't do anything to it." I say lightly, with patience I never knew I had. He looked just as surprised with my tone as I did,

"Yeah," He said softly, "Okay."

I hand him one, mentally grinning in victory. I was a step closer to-

"Johnny!" A terrified voice interrupted my thought process,

"P-Pony?" Johnny said, startled as the redhead ran up.

Ponyboy eyed me as Johnny stood up,

"What're you doing here?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly, I shrugged,

"Nothing, I still had time from school and saw your friend here alone." I smiled,

"I offered him a smoke."

Ponyboy grabbed the cigarette from the other boy's, Johnny's, hand and threw it on the floor. I raised an eyebrow,

"What's wrong, doll?"

"Don't..." He blushed,

"Don't call me that."

He took a step back when I stood,

"Sure, okay." I look at the other kid,

"I'll see you later."

"Over my dead body." He snapped, I raised my hands up,

"Relax, darling, I wont do anything." His face turned red,

"Don't call me that."

"Then what do you want me to call you, baby?"

"Nothing."

"Whatever floats your boat, nothing." He glared at me.

"I have to get going," I turn on my heel,

"See you." Then I left.
