Hey guys, Exze here just quickly before saying thanks for 500 views on this. I wasn't expecting this to go anywhere as I made it for fun really. I had read lots more romance novels and thought I was ready for writing one that isn't extremely cringy. I won't delay you any longer, enjoy.

Tom's P.o.V

It was 2 days until Derek's wedding. When he told our parents, my mum cried and hugged him, refusing to let go for several minutes. My dad gave him a pat on the back and dirty joke. Derek had done well on arranging his wedding and had invited lots of his friends. I was trying on a suit in my room and Emily playing with Jake. "What do you think?" I asked turning around so Emily could see me. "It's not bad" she said getting up and walking over. "But something's wrong" she added looking at me before doing up my top button and pulling my tie up. "There, now you look smarter" she said and I kissed her. "Thank you Emily. I don't know what I would do without you" I said and she smiled. "You're welcome Tom" she said and sat back down with Jake. I got out my notes and read them, trying to memorise them so I know what needs to be done but with little luck. My door opened and my dad walked in. "You look smart Tom, are you sure it's not you getting married?" He said and I chuckled a little. "No dad, I'm not getting married yet" I said rolling my eyes. "Anyway, Derek asked me to give you this back, as he's so busy right now. Now hurry up, we're going to be late" he said handing me my sketch pad and I was confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "We're going today and staying an extra night" my dad said and I was shocked. "Okay, I need to get ready" I said putting my pad down and my notes back in my pocket. My dad left and I started to get out of my suit. "Tom, have you got the rings?" Emily asked and I pointed to a closed envelope on my desk. I quickly changed into a shirt and jeans and packed my suit. "Hey, Tom?" Emily said and I looked over at her. "Are you sure you're okay with this? I can see that you're stressed out by just looking at you" she said and I nodded but was really afraid I was going to mess something up. "Are you okay with being a bridesmaid?" I asked and she nodded. "I'm really honoured that Rebecca asked me to be a bridesmaid, we've only talked a few times" Emily said and I sat down on my bed. "Well she really likes you Emily, and I know why. You're an amazing girl and I can't see who wouldn't like you" I said and she smiled and hugged me. We continued packing and took our bags downstairs when we were done.

After the long car journey we unpacked in a hotel. I was in a room with Emily and there was a crib for Jake. I went to Derek's room to see how he was coping with all this. I knocked on the door and it opened. I walked in and Derek smiled and closed the door. "Hey Tommy, good to see you" he said and we hugged. "Good to see you too. How are things?" I asked letting go. "It's very stressful and mind boggling, knowing that in a couple days I'm going to be married" he said sitting on his bed. "But you're not getting married to an evil witch at least" a voice said from the bathroom. "Of course I'm not, why would you say that?" Derek said as Rebecca walked in. "Just letting you know that you're not alone and I am no witch" she said hugging him. "Hi Rebecca, how are you?" I said and she waved. "I'm excited Tom, knowing that I'm going to be married soon. And to a fine piece of meat too" she said and I giggled. "Also, thanks for the drawing, I really like it. It's cute" Rebecca said and I smiled. "Thanks, I was thinking of doing one of you two, me and Emily, Jake and your child when it arrives" I said and she smiled and hugged me. "That would be wonderful Tom, thank you" Rebecca said and I kissed her cheek, giving a friendly vibe. "I got to go now, Emily's probably wondering where I am" I said walking to the door. "Alright bye Tommy" Derek said. "Bye Tom, see you tomorrow" Rebecca said. I opened the door and said, "Don't get too stressed Derek, take some time to relax and spend time together". "I might do that Tommy, thanks" Derek said and I shut the door.

Timeskip To Wedding

It was the big day, I was standing next to Derek at the alter and he was really nervous. "Try to relax Derek, you're getting too stressed about this" I whispered. "You don't know what it's like Tommy, I'm scared" he whispered back and I chuckled a bit. "I thought big, bad Derek doesn't get scared" I whispered and he chuckled slightly as well. The ushers started to walk down the aisle, followed by Emily and Penny. The flower girl came and then there was a pause before the pianist started playing and Rebecca started to walk down the aisle with her dad. I looked for our parents and found them, my mum hugging my dad. I spotted Uncle Jason and Aunt Katie, both with smile plastered on their faces. Rebecca reached the alter and stood opposite Derek. The priest started to read.

(I copied this and changed a few words like names)

"We are gathered together on this beautiful afternoon to share with Rebecca and Derek as they exchange vows of their everlasting love. Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" The priest asked. "Her Mother & I" Rebecca's dad said and places Rebecca's paw in Derek's and sits down. "As Rebecca and Derek take their vows today, we are privileged to witness the joyous love of a new family, a family that will be nourished and nurtured through the devotion of two separate individuals growing together through the common bonds of love. May their marriage bring them the peace, joy, comfort and contentment that is known in the hearts of all God's children. And may Derek and Rebecca both look forward to each new season of their marriage, just as the world looks forward to each new season of the year. For all seasons bring with them their own special moments and memories.
An essential requirement of a good marriage is a strong bond of real friendship and trust. Rebecca and Derek, your love for each other will grow deeper with every passing day, but it's important to remember that your love stands on a foundation of genuine, mutual affection and respect for each other. To truly love another person is to be willing to accept both their strong points, and their weak points, with equal measures of understanding and respect. The vows you are about to exchange, will serve as a verbal representation of the non-verbal emotions that are as real as anything that can be seen, heard or touched. For it is not the words that you will speak today that will bond you together as one, but the strength of the love and commitment found deep within your souls" The priest said and you could Derek fighting back the tears of joy.

"Let us pray" the priest said and everyone put the heads down. "At this time, I'll ask you, Derek, and you, Rebecca, to face each other and take each other's paws. Derek, do you take Rebecca Grey to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honour her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health until death do you part?" The priest asked looking at Derek. "I do" Derek said, a massive smile on his face as I heard my mum start to weep softly hugging my dad as the priest turned to Rebecca. "Rebecca, do you take Derek Henshaw to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honour him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health until death do you part?" The priest asked Rebecca and she smiled. "I do" Rebecca said smiling. I handed them the rings and the put them on.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride" the priest said and Derek gave Rebecca a passionate French kiss. "Eww" I heard a tiny voice say and heard chuckling as I also chuckled, knowing it was Jake. Rebecca took Derek by the paw and they ran down the aisle and outside. Everyone followed and went outside where a limo was waiting for them, "Just Married" on the back window. Rebecca threw her bouquet into the crowd of girls and I don't know who caught it. "Hey Tommy" someone said and I turned to see Jason with Katie. "Remember, I'll be back when you're getting married, which is clearly soon" Uncle Jason said pointing behind me. Turning I saw the limo start to drive away and Emily walking over to me, Rebecca's bouquet in her paws. "Looks like I'm going to be married next" she said with a devilish grin on her face. "I can't wait" I said and kissed her.

Yep that's it. Sorry if you were expecting more, I had no idea what to do for this as I don't know how weddings work. Sorry again.
