As the manager at the rock club Strip, which you might have guessed by the name is located on Sunset Strip, Casey was used to meeting rockstars and other famous people. She started out as a bartender at the club at 18 years old and at 20 she began helping the owner Kurt Brentworth with booking preformers and organising shows. Now five years and alot of hard work and dealing with self absorbed musicians later, Casey deals with all of that herself. Ever since Kurt gave her the position as manager and moved back to the UK, she manages the infamous club that is more or less the usual hangout spot for LA bands and rockers in the city. In the begining she was just like all the other girls in LA, totally inlove with anyone who was in a famous band. But after seven years in the same club as most of her idols the excitement had sort of worn off and she concidered some of them her friends, some of them people she occationally worked with and some of them a total pain in the ass.

The alarmclock rang, Casey opened her eyes with agony as she wondered why the fuck she set in in the first place. She looked at the clock, still adjusting her eyes to the sun beaming through her window. 10.30am. "What the actuall fuck?" She thought while trying to remember if she had anything important to do. Since the club usually opens at 7 or 8pm and closes sometime between 1 and 3am, depending on when people stop buying drinks, Casey doesn't get to bed untill sometime in the early morning. Last night was no exception, Skid Row had a gig at Strip and Sebastian Bach who was one of Caseys closest friends, had insisted on pulling an all nighter. She looked to her right to see him laying on the floor with one of her night gowns as a blanket, totally oblivious to the fact that the alarm was going off at full blaze.

Casey got out of bed and made herself her usual hangover breakfast, two slices of bread with with cheese and a cold beer. Suddenly she remembered what the alarm was about, she made plans last night to meet Tommy for lunch at twelve. "Fuck, fuck, FUCK!!" After a bottle of vodka combined with the awesome mood Casey was always in after her club delivered an amazing show, he had somehow managed to charm her like he did all those years ago. They had a fling while she still worked as a bartender, but when he cheated on her with three girls on the same night, she called it off. She still found him very attractive though and got over her resentment towards him a long time ago. Years ago when she moved from bartending to booking acts, Casey had made a promise to herself to not date or sleep with someone she works with, which of course ment basiclly the whole rock scene, it just complicates things. A fact she knew all too well, but we'll get to that later. It was a rule she had broken once or twice but she wasn't about to repeat that mistake with Tommy. Never the less she hopped in the shower and washed her long dark brown hair to get rid of the party smell, plus it does miracles on a hangover. After that she proceeded to doing her makeup and drying her hair, which was no simple task as it was so long and thick. She had no problem being seen without makeup or her hair done because she already had alot going for her. Obviously the hair, piercing blue eyes, 5'7 with long lean legs and a curvy, yet slender figure. She wasn't the typical bombshell girl though, more a down to earth, natural beauty. Since it was summertime in LA she had a nice tan going also, one of the upsides of working afternoons and during the night was that she was always free during the prime tanning hours. Casey wasn't normally nervous to meet guys, she was very comfortable in her own skin. But seeing Tommy during the day and not half drunk at Strip was kind of nerve wrecking. So she put on a pair of ripped jean shorts that always got her compliments for her legs, black boots and a black tank top. Waking Sebastian up was no easy task but she finally got him up from the floor and they headed out.

"Seriously? Damn gurl you're going on a date with T? Did NOT see that comming."

"Shut up!" Casey replied in a slightly embarassed tone. "I don't know why I agreed to it and I am already regretting it, I just want to get it over with."

"Sure but maybe you should give it a go, you haven't had a special dude in like two years since you and James ended things."

"Yeah but he's the reason why I made up the rule of the rule about not dating guys from work. When it all falls to pieces it's not especially cool too see the guy with a bunch of girls all over him the next night."

"Not everything ends up in shitville hun, you can't be affraid of falling inlove because you might get hurt."

"Okay mom, thanks for the advice." Casey responded and they both started laughing. This is why she loves Seb so much, they have so much fun together but he's also a pretty sencetive guy. After a hug they whent their seperate ways and Casey had ten minutes left untill she was suppose to meet Tommy at the resturant. She started feeling nervous again and decided to go straight to the place to down a vodka before he showed. When she entered the resturant she emediatly layed eyes on Tommy who apparently also was early. "Double fuck, why did he pick today of all days to be in time!"

"Babe! I was affraid you weren't gonna show. Fuck you look sexy!"

"Hey Tom, well I almost forgott why I set my alarmclock." Casey replied and smiled. Tommy did too and gave her a hug.

"You still don't drink before noon, or you want a cocktail? I hear they make a mean rum and coke here."

"Is it possible to fuck up a rum and coke?" she said laughing. "I'll try one, can't pass on the world most amazing mix of two liquids."

"Well I guess it's not rocket sience so you make a good point sexylegs, I'll go get us some and some menues."

Casey began smiling to herself, Tommy made up that nickname for her back in the day and she always liked it even though she didn't admitt it. Lunch was actually really nice and in what seemed like minutes, they had been there for two hours. Even though Casey would never take Tommy back she felt as comfortable with him as she had always done and left the resturant feeling happy she came. "Maybe Sebastian has a point, I only feel this comfortable with guys who are like me. And let's face it the guys I've tried dating who aren't in to rock music, have never really gotten my heart pounding in the same way as Tommy or James did." she thought to herself as she made her way to Strip.
