Chapter 10.
The next morning Grace woke up feeling a heavy arm squeezing her tightly against a rock hard body. Grace took a few minutes to herself drinking in the feeling of having someone beside her; the feeling of belonging took over. Why does she feel like this is how she should wake up every day and go to sleep every night? Why does she feel so familiar with Jake? Why does she feel so safe with him? Why does she feel the need to have him near her? Why does he make her feel like a traveller coming home after a long journey? Why does she feel the need to give to let him feel all those same feelings, he made her feel? She wished she could believe the words Darren wrote. She wished she could put a name to what she felt for Jake. Could it be love?Jake stirred beside her, pulling her from her thoughts. “Morning, Baby.” Jake said in a groggy voice he took his arm from her midriff and rubbed his eye; clearly not a morning person.
“Morning, we should get ready to go to Anne’s.” Grace said as she turned on her stomach, supporting her upper body on her arms; she turned her head to watch Jake. A blood red blush crept up her neck all the way up to her cheeks again; next to her Jake laid with his hand over his eyes the other hand he placed behind his head. His arm muscles flexed as he continuously robed his eyes or ran his hand through his hair, but what made Grace blush was the fact that Jake was shirtless. She never saw any man built as perfectly before. Grace could not take her eyes of Jake’s torso. Jake was not too muscly, but he had all the defining lines showing his perfect supple muscles. Grace wished she could run her hand over his toned abs, as if she would only believe that it is real when she felt it, but then again she felt it when she woke up and he held her close to her. Grace swore there would have been a puddle by now from all the drool she had to keep swallowing.Jake took his hand from his eyes, just as the blush started to rise in Grace’s neck. He knew he promised to make her blush every day, but seeing it so early in the morning took his breath away. Grace’s voice where still a little bit husky from the sleep and her bright hazel eyes glimmered in the morning light. He wished he could see her every morning for the rest of his live. All of a sudden he understood his feelings and he knew just what Jim meant with his words last night. He found his forever after. Jake saw that Grace was checking him out and his arrogant-self returned. With a cocky grin he watched her; he felt good knowing her eyes were on him. “You could touch it if you want.” He teased.
Grace’s head jerked up at the sound of Jake’s voice: “What?” She shrieked embarrassment clear on her face.
Jake let out a chuckle, mesmerised by the blush growing redder by the minute. “It looked like you really wanted to; in fact I would describe it more like you wanted to lick it.”
Grace felt like her face was on fire, she dropped down on her pillow trying her best to hide her face. “Not my fault it is perfect.” She mumbled into her pillow, hoping that Jake could not hear her.
“You want to see more?” Jake teased; he struggled to hold back his laugh. “Gracie, oh Gracie?” He said in a sing song voice. He straddled her, swiftly and effortlessly he flipped her over so she had to face him. “Baby, look at me.” He said.
Grace just shook her head and covered her face with her hands. “Oh, hell no!” She exclaimed.
Jake took her hands from her eyes and pinned it up above her head with one of his. “I’ll make you a deal.” He whispered in her ear, trailing his nose against the rim of her ear as always. It was as if he knew exactly wat it did to grace when he did that. “I..” he started his trail of kisses down her neck again leaving her skin hot with every kiss he placed. “Will…” Grace felt as if the pit of her stomach had lava smouldering in side. “Let…” Jake could feel the heat of the moment rising and he liked it. “You…” He wanted her so badly. “Touch…” He loved the effect he had on her. “And…” Grace could not take it anymore. “Lick…” She let out a whimper, she could not hold back anymore. “It…” Grace felt like she could spontaneously combust by now. “If…” Jake placed the last kiss on the opposite earlobe than what he started tracing her ear again. Sitting up he then said: “You say out loud how ‘perfect’ you thought it was.” Jake said making bunny ears when he said perfect. Suddenly he stood up and made his way to the shower, knowing she would not repeat what she said out loud.
