I woke up only to blackness. My eyes udjusted and I felt a deep warmth across my stomach. My brain was now working to full blast and replayed the events that happened just hours ago.

It was amazing.

He was amazing.

The warmth that sprawled ontop of my stomach turned out to be Jonah's arm. I smiled just to myself. It was nice to know that I wasn't another one of "those girls" where he would just use em for one night and toss em away the next.

I rubbed his arm soothingly, and it turns out he was awake too.

"Hey," he said with a small smile.

"Hey," I responded in a small whisper. That's when I realized my clothes were on his floor and it's almost 5 o'clock in the morning on a schoolday. But that didn't faze me. I had half a mind to just stay in his bed all day with his arm resting on my belly.

"Are you hurting anywhere?" asked Jonah, breaking me of my thoughts.

"Um, no not at all," I said rather awkwardly.

"Oh... Well usually it would hurt for the first time with girls...."

I stared at him.

"Uh- well my dad told me so...." he said rather hastily. I laughed as he blushed.

"Well we should probably get ready for school..." he said quietly.

I let out a small groan and replied,  "Can we just stay here? It's warm..." I put on my best puppy dog face and batted my eyes.

Jonah only smiled and planted a kiss upon my lips.

"Only if you wanna get massacred by my graceful mother," he said oh so innocently.

I let out a chuckle and hoisted my fleshy self up and off the bed desperately snatching up my clothes.

"Emmaline, meet my professor Dr. Yales."

"How do you do Ms. Yorks?" said the man in the sweater vest.

I did the best curtsy I could and said," Please, call me Em."

The two men laughed; only I don't know why. So I just smiled. The middle aged man stepped to the side revealing a small boy behind him; desperatley clinging to the gentleman's trousers.

"Ms. Em, this is my son, Constant. He's 7 just like you! Say hello son."

The boy called Constant hid behind his father's leg and out of my sight. I didn't know what was the matter, so I asked him.

"What's the matter? Do I look funny or something?"

The boy peeked from behind his daddy's legs and stared at me.

"Constant is a little... Well shy."

"Ah, it's ok Ben all kids go through that," said my daddy. And for the remainder of the tour around campus that Constant boy hid from me.

"Mommy where's daddy?"

"In his office Emma. Don't bother him he's having a phone call."

I remember mommy's hair was falling out that day and the day before that. It would always feel funny when they clung to my feet.

Out of sheer curiosity I walked up to daddy's office and pressed my ear to his door.

"You don't know what I do Ben!"

I was scared. I have never heard daddy raise his voice like that, even when him and mommy were having a fight.

Silence.

"You don't want to do this Ben, not now." Then he whispered something inaudible. He was talking to that man I met a few weeks ago with that crazy Costant kid.

"I can't talk right now, my family is home..." said my daddy but with a softer voice.

That should've been my que to leave the scene, but daddy opened the door before I could take another breath. He stared down at me with eyes that were hateful, but then softened and turned worried.

I couldn't speak. I knew I wasn't supposed to hear that. But I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"Daddy what's wrong? Are you in trouble? Please tell me."

Of course daddy wouldn't tell me, even though him and I both know his profession. But 2 days later daddy went on a business trip that lasted a month or two. And when he came home he was completely bald and wearing weird circle glasses like Harry Potter.

About two months later two men in long coats came to our house and asked daddy questions about the man I met all those months ago.

He turned up missing and his case remains unresolved.

Present Day

Tess wouldn't stop pestering me about that magical night so I hung up the phone. I love her, but she gives me migranes. Soon I got a text from her reading "Bitch <3". At least I get a heart.

Jonah and I have been happily going out for five months and it's already December. Those five months consisted of dates, snuggling, kissing, late night convos(which would sometimes lead to our clothes flying off), and the Jeepers.

I didn't understand why they were still happening to me, and to be honest I was a little worried. It happened more frequently and it only got worse.

Oh, how I wish my daddy was here.... To make it worse, I wasn't going to have my winter fantasy.

"I'm only going to be gone for 2 weeks. I'll be back for Christmas."

Jonah was visiting his father in Colarado. Damn him.

"Babe it's way too long I'll miss you..." I whined.

"We'll talk every night I promise." He brought his face to mine and leaned against my forehead.

"Swear?"

"Cross my heart."

We kissed on it and he drove off to pack.

To save you the anxiety, he never called.
